My friend posted this on Facebook and I wondered if the answers of moms would be different than her mostly single friends.
Which would you choose:
A) somebody cleans your house top to bottom once a month
B) somebody cooks you a delicious dinner and cleans up twice a week
C) you get a great night's sleep on fresh clean sheets once a week
D) a live-in bartender
I just realized I should have made this a poll but I don't want to type it all out again so reply with your letter!

A cook twice a week. That would be a game changer. Making dinner and cleanup takes 1.5-2 hours a day!

C. I love to cook, I rather enjoy cleaning (mostly because of podcasts and audio books, but also because it feels constructive to take out any frustrations on some mildew in the tub...), and I don't need someone else to pour me a glass of wine, I like pouring my own! Also, I don't really like having people who aren't family or friends in my personal space. But C isn't much of an upgrade--I change the sheets once a week anyhow because it feels good!

My first reaction is definitely A, except when we actually had a cleaning service coming once a month, I didn't really like it. Maybe I need to try again with someone else.

A cook! We already have a cleaner who comes twice a month, so I don't need that. But making dinner every night while soloing with two kids (hubs gets home from work at their bed time) is so exhausting! I'm actually in the process of trying to get my parents to move to my city and I told my dad I would pay him $15/hr to do the kids laundry and make us dinner every night. Shockingly, he wasn't super interested in this gig

If choice A were every 2 weeks, I would pick that. But since B is twice a week, I'll go for B.

C! But that is just because I am in the newborn stage and not getting very much right now.
I agree with the poster above about wanting a make-up artist (ooh or someone to do my hair each day!)

I'd like a cook, but can he/she come everyday? It's exhausting cooking every meal at home. Food allergies are tough.

A cook, hands down! I hate meal planning and prep, not to mention the cleaning afterwards. To have someone do it all for me would be a dream...

A cook! I do love to cook but it's not as fun with LOs underfoot and whining. I would stipulate that meals have to be big enough to have leftovers the next day, so then I wouldn't have to cook much at all!

A, though B is a close second and I would be thrilled with C as well. For drinks I mostly drink wine, which isn't complicated and my husband drinks beer or old fashions, which he says I mix better than any bartender, so a bartender would be wasted on us!

I have someone come to the house to clean every 3 weeks.
I would love to have someone come in a couple times a week to cook for me!

At the minute with a 12 week old it's sleep all the way! But normally it would be the cleaning.

Definitely A! I am pretty good about tidying up and keeping the house reasonably clean, but it would be awesome if someone would come scrub all the places I don't get to on a daily/weekly basis.
