"Is baby okay, umma?" (DS asks that after I've lifted him up, when he wakes up in the AM, after I get back from OB check-ups, etc.)

Dd1 was trying to get a gigantic booger out of her nose and she couldn't do it. She said "he's napping ok? Don't bother him"

Oh, goodness, so many things! My favorite right now is, "Come 'ere!" It's so sweet to hear her call for the people (and dogs) she loves!

She just learned the word cheetah and now instead of calling our house cat "kitty" she calls him "cheetah" so stinking cute.

LO loves to tell us "Shhhh, baby brother is sleeping." Maybe, but he's still in mommy's "tummy." I don't think we're bothering him.

So E is in this phase where she loves to compliment people on the most random things. "I love the buttons on your shirt, Mommy!" and the like. The other day she busted into the bathroom right after DH stepped out of the shower, looked at him and proudly said "Daddy, I love your vagina!"
He almost fell over he laughed so hard.

@mediagirl: I just found a fun little app called Little Hoots - you can record cute sayings and they give you backgrounds.
Just played with it once and did this from DS
My kids always say funny things but then I forget them! Hoping this app helps me keep track

I said this on another thread, but I just think it's adorable. DH went to pick DS up from school the other day. He walked in to him dancing to Pharell's Happy. He saw DH and goes, "Daddy! I'm dancing to my JAM!"

My son has started saying cute phrases like "Oh my" and "Oh no" whenever he accidentally drops something or knocks something over.

It's not really cute in the traditional sense, but last night my picky toddler devoured his shells with chorizo, spinach, artichoke and mushrooms and declared "I like my dinner. Great job eating my dinner mommy!"
We get a lot of compliments/support from him lately. Like...every time I go to the bathroom: "Great job peeing mommy! I'm so proud of you!" or "Great job cooking dinner mommy!" or "Great job putting your shoes on mommy!"

DS is almost one, but pretty verbal for his age. We were on vacation last weekend and I gave him his first taste of ice cream - he smacked his lips and said "I like!" It was adorable and hilarious - AND i got it on video

We've been encouraging DS to be quiet around the cat so as not to scare him, and now every time he sees the cat he puts his finger up to his lips and goes 'sssss' (he means shh), it is mega cute.

E drank some water and started coughing then said, "it went down the wrong tunnel" (instead of pipe) haha
The the other day on our bike ride, some guy did the rock on sign to B and B looked very uncomfortable. After he passed, B whispered to me, "why did that guy say I love you to me?" (The rock on sign and I love you do look similar, lol)

@oliviaoblivia: I guess you know it's sinking in -- so cute!
This morning LO was playing with her baby and asked me what happened to her hair. I explained that the baby didn't have any yet, and she looked at baby and said "you can have some of mine, I have yots!" She's also been letting me know (in a way that makes it sound like a huge favour) that "you can pick X up" when she's dropped something and I've asked her to pick it up

DD will be 3 next month and now says the funniest things. Her vocabulary is out of control. Yesterday morning when she woke up:
Me: Good morning Lara, how are you feeling?
Lara: Absolutely fabulous!
pomegranate / 3331 posts
-Yesterday she let out a huge fart, pointed to her butt and said "BUUUUURP!" while giggling.
-Every time she drops something, or knocks something over, she either shakes her head and says "no worries!" or she puts her hands on her head and says "ay yai yai!" it's too cute.
-SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVE NO SEEN FROZEN! at the end when anna freezes, she puts her hands to her chest and says "chilly!"
and about a million others. she makes me laugh all day long when i'm around her, and she's not even speaking sentences yet!

@Mrs Green Grass: My LO takes my husband's blue tooth headset that he uses for work, puts it on, and tells us "I'm closing some deals". It cracks us up!

@daniellemybelle: My LO does the same thing when she puts her doll in the grocery cart - she usually puts a blanket over top of her and then ducks down and looks up at the baby and says "ok baby?"

@Mrs Green Grass: Haha...I love this! Anytime I see DS mimicking his dad, it totally melts my heart!
@Truth Bombs: This is awesome too!!
