@josina: did you get AF? Mine is messed up... I bled for 5 days heavy after chemical and now I'm late. WTH

@MrsF: I think it just depends on her mood lol. I think one time I did it she did wake up. I try to just keep everything dark and kept shushing her

@winniebee: Hope he gets better! Ethan still sounds awful, I'm starting to think I may have to bring him back in too if his congestion doesn't ease up, although not sure they will do anything anyways. Poor babies.

@josina: I'm sorry E is still not doing better! I agree it sucks that the Drs can't do anything for him!
Ugh I'm up to see if my office is closing from the snow yet but nothing.. Now I'm wide awake.
I think K had been overtired from yesterday's changes (going to SILs house for the morning). Also I kept her up go take some 3 mo pic lol, I feel so bad! I put her to bed, 20 min later she was wide awake and took a lonnng time of nursing to fall back asleep!

Thanks ladies for your nap input!
@winniebee: I'm so sorry Ryan is so sick! Is your concern mostly the fever?
@MrsF: @snowjewelz: I never could do a dreamfeed with Xander. He was such a light sleeper, he ALWAYS woke up. But with Logan, I can do it if I don't change his diaper. I just pick him up and put him on the boob. I mean, I think he kind of wakes a little, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get anything into his mouth, but he never opens his eyes and once he's done eating, he goes right back down without a peep.
@BandDmommy: @josina: My cycle was all over the place when it returned after I had Xander. I think nursing will affect it and make it take longer to ovulate.

@FaithFertility: glad she is doing so well! It sounds like PT was the right move

@josina: I'm sorry he is still under the weather! I don't know what else that can be done I just feel better getting him checked.
Last night was scary. Ryan had such a bad coughing fit we had to bring him in the shower at 330 am. He kept coughing and gagging and puking up whatever he ate. Long long night. Glad we are going in this morning. He is such a sweet baby barely fussy through all of this.

@winniebee: my heart breaks for sick babes, sooo scary! Hope today helps at doctors!

AF showed. It's actually 28 days which is what it was prior to B. I went on depo after B and I bled so much I went off it. And my cycles were jacked up. Less than 24 days.

@winniebee: oh no, that's awful. I hope they can do something for him! Keep us posted.
Ethan's night wasn't great either. He woke himself up from coughing twice and was up 2-2-2 to nurse and after that just for cuddles.
Hoping the coughing is going to get rid of his congestion though so we can be done with this.

@winniebee: pooor baby! i hope there is SOMETHING the dr can do to help!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: ugh I am sorry! whacky cycles might make it hard to figure out whether you're pregnant or not! I hope they normalize, or that you get pregnant soon so you can be AF free again! I totally see you with 3 esp since both B & D are so good!

@winniebee: I'm sorry. We went through our bout with baby sickness. I know exactly how anxiety inducing it can be. Thankfully, we never had fevers though. I hope his situation improves soon.

We have another Texan snow day. We got about 6 inches of snow last night. Absolutely unheard of! I've never seen this much snow here. But being a northern native, it makes me crazy. I just wish we could deal with it here. Instead all of the schools are closed which means we are home today. DH is on his way to work and my work hasn't made an official decision other than we are delayed. It doesn't matter anyway, someone needs to be home with the girls.
And as of now, DH has to work on Saturday too. So that's another day with the girls by myself. I want my day soon!

@winniebee: that's so heartbreaking I hope you have a good appointment and a better day today!

@MamaG: I think we're in that same storm that stretches across the country! Ugh my company had a delayed opening, and now is closing early, so I don't even know why I came to the office!

@MamaG: snow days are the worst when you have kids. My daycare would close and I'd have to work from home which Is pretty much impossible with my son.

@MamaG: I can see how snow in Texas would be annoying. I'm at the end of my rope here in Boston even though we expect snow!

We had an awful night. Ryan had terrible coughing fits and we had to bring him in a hot shower at 330. Doc just thinks persistent Bronchiolitis perhaps rsv. After today (day 5) should get better. His lungs sounded clear after a cough. His oxygen levels are good.
In other news since being sick myself my supply has tanked. What else can go wrong?
Snow and freezing here too. Winter can suck it.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Ugh, I'm so so sorry! I really hope Ryan starts feeling better soon. And what a bummer about your supply - being sick sucks.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@MrsF: Oh, I get it. The Northeast has had a helluva winter. I lived in Connecticut for a couple of years, and it was as though they never expected winter. They seemed to shut down Texas style every time it snowed.
I think we are turning the corner into Spring next week. I just hope this Spring is more than a couple of weeks long before we enter the dog days of Summer.

@winniebee: No wheezing? K had a little wheeze even though her lungs were clear. Which landed us in nebulizer treatments which seemed to help. But I generally concur, after day 5 life seemed to improve. Still, sorry, it sucks!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MamaG: so the pediatrician listened and heard some wheezing but then he coughed and the wheeze was gone. She wasn't a fan of the nebulizer even though I've heard positive things about it.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: Neb treatments probably wouldn't help much if he's not wheezing. Good news that his airways are open enough not to hear wheezes!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Thanks for all the well wishes! He has been napping in his car seat since we left the doc 3.5 hours ago. Man he needs this!

How awful does it sounds if I say I'm jealous of all the snow? It's actually in the 30s today in Louisiana with freezing rain, but if there was snow instead it would at least make the cold worth it.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Miss Ariel: I do get what you are saying lol but my drive to and from work was horrible! And tell that to DH who has to shovel lol!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Miss Ariel: you can have some of ours. I think we'll still have snow on the ground when the first day of summer rolls around
nectarine / 2210 posts
@snowjewelz: very true, shoveling snow would be miserable.
@MrsF: that's crazy!
And I checked the weather and they actually are predicting snow tonight... So we'll see!

@winniebee: oh my gosh, poor boy!! And poor parents that sounds awful; I really hope he feels better soon. Keep drinking lots of water, lady! And maybe some oatmeal and/or lactation cookies, to help with supply?

All this talk of snow makes me glad I live in AZ. High is 79 here tomorrow & sunny

He had a fever again last evening (100.6) and another 330-530 coughing fit which led to the steam shower. Thankfully my husband is cool as a cucumber during these situations because I am a little more panicky. No fever this morning but coughing like crazy. Hopefully he sleeps a lot today.
