Happy anniversary everyone!
I wonder if @mrbee knows what the longest running thread on this board is, haha!

@MamaG: I was showing an expecting mom my app for tracking during DD's new born days. I was like what?! I was up xx times during these ungodly hours?!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: You can see it yourself using the archives. We are by far the winner!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: I know I am! 5 of the top 15 are due date threads I'm part of, haha (2 for December 2014 and 3 for March 2013).

Man I was reading some of the old threads of when we got BFPs and our birth stories... Time really flies! Getting so nostalgic! K turns 1 this Friday!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
When Xander turned one, we started trying to baby #2, so I think some of you other moms need to get on it.

Happy Anni!
Welll maybe we should just keep this thread then, since we are so awesome?!

@Adira: We're NTNP, but we won't be actively trying till summer
nectarine / 2210 posts
@Adira: @snowjewelz: we're the same, ntnp now and will start trying in the summer. Although I've yet to get my af back so it makes it hard to get pregnant!! Maybe once I've officially weaned??
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Miss Ariel: ahh that is so sweet! i got mine back 9 mo pp and it's currently raging pp period SUCKS!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@Adira: That is really cool to look at, we're winning by a landslide! And I would totally get pregnant now if I didn't have to worry about the damn daycare bill. Sometime next year hopefully...
@snowjewelz: That makes me want to go back and check my app...
Last year today I was nursing at 9:30 pm, 11:45, 12:15 am, 1:00, 1:22, 3:00, 3:52, 4:20 and 7 am. Oh my god. How did we function back then?

@Adira: hahah we are NTNP, I am scared to say I am TTC and get my hopes up and have all those IF thoughts come flooding back, so for now we are enjoying "the act" and well would Love a BFP if it were to happen!!!
honeydew / 7283 posts
Amazing that we have the top two threads by a landslide! I really love that one of you ladies is usually here to chat if I need a friend (and that was so nice in the MOTN in those dark newborn days )

@FaithFertility: Sounds like a good mindset. I'm so hopeful for you though

We had J's one year appointment today. He's had a bad cold and is also getting his third (and maybe fourth?) molar, so he was having a hard time already. He got three shots and then blood taken for lead and hemoglobin and the Dr also found that he has an ear infection . Poor kid is a mess!
So it's back on the antibiotics for us! M doesn't finish hers until Friday - it's just crazy.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: ugh - thank you. And I'm so sorry for being such a HUGE complainer around here lately. I know we're all dealing with sick kiddos!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: no!!!! Awful! I feel so bad for sick babies I have no backbone for sick babes or crying!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsF: poor kiddos!!! He looks so sweet in that pic u posted!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: Yeah - he has actually been taking it all pretty well but he was totally over it by dinner time tonight so of course what I have in my head is meltdown city.
Funny story - he was chewing on his finger with the band aid in the car (from the stick for blood) so when we got to preschool pickup his whole face was covered with smears of blood. I had to detour to the bathroom to clean him off

What's with all the darn ear infections? K goes back in a week to see if her's is cleared and get her shots. Her dr said she has 4 plus the blood draw. We have two more days of antibiotics.
And we are definitely working on bottom molars. K has been chewing her fingers and everything else she can. She's also cranky but I can't decipher if it's the ears or teeth. The good news is she's still eating and sleeping just fine.

@snowjewelz: how is their birthday already this Friday?!
Can't believe this thread has been going for a year!
@MrsF: poor little guy
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@MamaG: I hope they're all cleared up! Great that she is still eating and sleeping well, though.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@MamaG: It's unreal! M literally never had an ear infection until she was 3 (no group childcare / school until then so... not surprising perhaps).
I hope K is feeling better soon!
pear / 1961 posts
@mrsf: sounds exactly like our one year appt last week! Minus the chewing on bandaid and bloody face keep complaining away! Shared misery is half misery, right!!
pear / 1961 posts
I think E might be teething but she absolutely refuses to let me get a peek at her molars. And it's hard to tell the difference between cutting teeth and pointy/hard gums if I just stick my finger in. Oh well. I guess it doesn't really matter. Just more for my sanity to know why she is being a nutter.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: Agreed! Love this thread and all you ladies!
@MrsF: Awww, sorry to hear about J having an ear infection! I can't believe he's working on molars!!! Logan only has 6 teeth still!
@KayKay: I think Logan is teething too, but it's hard to tell! Just have to wait until we can actually see something I guess.
So far bottle weaning is going terribly. He's been getting his afternoon bottle in a sippy and refusing it. Bleh.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@Adira: are others in his class using a sippy? Are they getting a cup at the same time as Logan? K took a sippy much better at daycare than home when we bottle weaned.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MamaG: I know other kids are getting sippies, but I don't know what time. I gave him some at home on Monday night and he did fine with it, so I sent in the same kind of cup we use to see if that helped, but he refused it yesterday too. Oh well... hopefully he figures it out.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: awwww sorry, I am sure he will figure it out..God I remember trying to get G to take a sippy/bottle awful!
Maybe try a straw cup too...!?
Worked for us!
