@Ms.Mermaid: we conceived my lo on the first try last time so I'm making myself nuts that something is wrong. I'm hoping seeing my temp follow a normal course will make me feel better. And we will also use natural cycles as bc after baby so the ease of ava will make that go better.
@MrsJBeeG: thanks! Me too! Fingers crossed I get to join you on the August board

Just catching up on the board. Sitting at cycle day 9 at the moment and trying to decide what approach we want to take this month. I been feeling defeated for the past few months, especially last month so I think I'm not going to track on OPK this month. We're just going to try EOD every and hope for the best. This is going to kill me! Still hoping for an awesome Christmas present.
@Ms.Mermaid: Good luck!!! Cannot wait to see your results on the next test. Crossing my fingers for you
@MamaBear87: Good luck on your TWW! We conceive our LO on the first try as well and this time around, its the 6th month. I can't help jump to the conclusion as well that something is wrong.

@MamaBear87: thank you!!!
@MrsMermaid: canāt wait to see your update!!
@patientlywaiting19: keep your head up! As someone who has been trying for baby #1 for a year and a half now, never thinkingit would be this difficult to get pregnant, I know how difficult and stressful this can be. I feel like every person around me is getting pregnant or having a baby and I just want it so so badly for myself. But we have to stay positive!

I tested tonight after a 4+ hour hold and it was stark white again. I know I might still not be out but Iām thinking this cycle didnāt happen for us and Iām making myself crazy with testing so I might wait until Saturday to test again.

@MamaBear87: Thank you!!
@LabradorLover: That's exactly how I'm feeling. Thank you for your encouragement . I think it's the pressure of wanting it to happen and everyone around me announcing their news. This month we've decided to take it easy and just do EOD and not tracking anything. Hoping for a Christmas miracle

BFN this morning (no self control). Still feeling nauseated but my husband reports also feeling nauseated since heās finally caught this cold. Iāll retest this weekend if Iām late but Iām moving on mentally and trying to decide how I want to proceed since this was our last shot at the age/school gap I wanted.
Now to prep mentally for seeing my pregnant SIL at Christmas and being happy for her. Gonna need to buy some delicious wine.

@patientlywaiting19: I totally understand, i'm hoping for a Christmas miracle as well!
@Ms.Mermaid: Don't worry about not having self control...I am totally there with you. I'm sorry for the BFN but you aren't out yet!
I'm officially in the dreaded tww starting today. Hoping these next two weeks fly by!!

@LabradorLover @patientlywaiting19 : *raises hand* Hoping for a Christmas miracle camp, right here. At least holiday busyness might help with the tww, right?
@Ms.Mermaid: Hugs (and yes to wine ).

Can someone tell me what the Yellow boxes mean in FF? I downloaded a different app to start gearing up for next month and it put my O date at the end of the Yellow boxes, whereas I assumed it was the first or second. Which puts me at 10DPO today. argh I donāt know what to think.

@afc061018: agree, I hope the holiday craziness will make the TWW bearable! my period is due around December 23/24 so right close to Christmas Day. On a positive, Iām 99% done my Christmas shopping!

So I had one FRER left and decided to test this morning to see line progression. So happy to see a really dark second line - gives me continued hope for this pregnancy.
Hoping for all of you to join me in an August due date board!

Oh hey cool my period showed up 4 days early. Nice of it to put me out of my TWW misery. On the bright side this means I should ovulate right before Xmas instead of while we are staying with family so thatās good. I think this means I could also POAS in late December too. Looks like youāre stuck with me!

@Ms.Mermaid: Iām sorry. Hate that for you. Although sounds like timing is better for a second try in December. Keeping my fingers crossed for you still!!!

@MrsJBeeG: that is awesome!!
@Ms.Mermaid: Iām sorry to see this but December could still be a good month for you!!

@MrsJBeeG: Love that FRER!!
@Ms.Mermaid: In FF, you can tap on Color Code underneath the calendar and that has a guide to what the colors mean. The yellow boxes that are solid yellow, and not outlined, are your luteal phase.
Speaking of FF, it looks like Ovia might have my window more accurate than FF this month. Take a look at my temps for this week. FF didn't have my window starting until tomorrow. Technically Ovia didn't even have it starting until the 4th, but Ovia adjusted once I started entering data.
I never got a positive OPK, I think by accident. Yesterday morning, I was super sleepy while taking the test (cheapo) and accidentally dipped it way past the stop lineāall the way to where the test line would appear. AGH. I still got a line to show up, but it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be (I was expecting it, based on past tests, to be just as dark as the test line). Then I tested again last night, and it was lighter than the messed up test. Lighter again this morning. So, I'm guessing based on my temps that I must have surged during the messed-up test or sometime within that window. One more day of sustained temps and I think FF will give me crosshairs on 12/5. That would move AF to 12/16...Is that how you all see it?

@Ms.Mermaid: TTC has made my period do some weird stuff too. Fingers crossed for next try!
@MrsJBeeG: such awesome lines!!

@afc061018: I would think you ovulated on day 10. But I'm new to chart reading so take it with a grain of salt

@MrsJBeeG: Looks good!!
@Ms.Mermaid: Sorry to hear but YAY to being able to test again in December. It might be the month! You're second chance.

@MrsJBeeG: No rush - for the next update, could you take me off 12/9 to POAS? I never did ovulate yet. Irregular cycles are very frustrating.
clementine / 787 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: let me know what you want your POAS date to be adjusted to whenever you want.
clementine / 787 posts
@Raspberry: do you want it as TBD? Sorry about irregular cycles - that would be so hard when ttc.
kiwi / 745 posts
@MrsJBeeG: O date is the 18th and POAS date is the 31st.
Itās so weird. Itās like my body is just like, āthis didnāt work, letās scrap this and try againā.
Is there a fertility nuts and bolts refesher somewhere so I donāt have to re-read TCOYF? I apparently canāt remember anything.

AF came āearlyā for me this cycle, but itās technically back on track with my cycles before November (it was a strange cycle month for me where AF was a week late). I think my body said āok cool weāre backā, but for TTC I think it messed up my o-date and overall schedule. Iām in the same boat as @ms.mermaid where I may be able to POAS in late December! Down but NOT OUT!

@Kmomartin: @Ms.Mermaid: Iāve adjusted the board - let me know if further adjustments are needed. An end of December POAS is pretty neat - would be a lovely way to bring in a new year!
kiwi / 745 posts
@Kmomartin: Yeah, I'm ordering some OPKs so I can better pinpoint when I ovulate since according to my app now, it was earlier than I expected.
grape / 87 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: my OPKs were weird this cycle, Iām hoping to get a better grasp on when I actually O on this one. I kept getting some āalmost thereā lines, so I may have missed the mark.
apricot / 301 posts
@MrsJBeeG: my POAS date has changed to 12/21 as of this morning. @Mamabear87 was correct! FF gave me crosshairs on 12/4 (CD 10) for ovulation, a full 10 days earlier than predicted originally. Considering the original window, I feel like we're lucky we got any BD in at all. Officially three days into the tww...

10dpo today! TWW is painful. I wanna POAS this weekend but purposely not going to the store to get any HPTs.

@Mrs. Oreo: I admire your inner strength. I had a few cycles where I held out until AF showed but more often than not I tested around 10 dpo.

reading everyone's post, I'm kind of regretting not doing the OPK this month lol. I think I'm ovulating soon(usually this time frame) but who knows if this month happens to be the OFF month. I have to remind myself that it's a relaxing month this month! I guess I love living in suspense....NOT! Good luck to all the ladies in their TWW right now
nectarine / 2288 posts
@Mrs. Oreo: stronger than me! Haha I always tell myself I'll wait until at least 12dpo and then cave before that
clementine / 920 posts
I am still waiting to ovulate. Originally thought it would be earlier this week but the OPKs say not yet so continuing EOD until it shows up. I'm pretty sure I was later than expected the last time we were TTC so maybe I'm just being impatient
pear / 1677 posts
@MrsJBeeG: @MamaBear87: Lol I might go to target after work and get FRER. So much for willpower! Iāll be 12dpo tomorrow if I decide to POAS.
Iām scared to find out
