Our house has a giant deck out back, and we are starting to become concerned that it might be heading downhill in terms of safety. The original owners built it themselves and the support posts just don't look like they are in good spots / one of them is a little crooked. We'd really like to get someone to check the deck out and make sure it's safe before we spend money this summer replacing boards.

I found the NADRA site but I'd never heard of getting a deck inspected before. Has anyone ever had a deck specific inspection? How much did it cost? Did you feel it was helpful?
