We bought a local newspaper and a USA Today on the day LO was born! Planning to do the same for #2.
I'm thinking we'll give it to them when they graduate from college? When they'll be old enough to appreciate it.

Awww great idea but we didn't think to do that. I did save a couple of magazines with her birth month & year.

It was given to us both times at the hospital! We kept the newspapers.

I meant to but forgot...the only paper my in laws could get was the NY Post. Didn't really want that, lol.
My parents did and I still have it!

I hadn't even thought to, but my Dad did and brought it to me when they visited when she was born.

We did it! Well, it was my brother's job to pick up a paper on the exact day except he forgot, so technically it's two days after, but close enough! I can't wait to show her

We did! I asked my FIL ahead of time if he wouldn't mind picking one up that day, and he seemed happy to have a job

We saved ours and it's still sitting on my dresser 9.5 months later.

I just saved the date label from the paper and put it in her scrapbook. We were actually in the paper 2 days later with a pic of the three of and Santa at the hospital, so that page is framed.
