My girls ate too many appetizers so they only ate the marshmallows off the sweet potatoes....

We had roast beef instead of turkey, so he had some of that, a roll, and some potatoes. And then a yogurt lol, that kid and his yogurt...

He ate small piece of turkey, a spoonful of fruit salad, and a roll... I wasn't even going to fight him about it.

I'm kinda surprised how much she was able to eat! Some turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, gumbo, cranberry sauce, part of a roll, and pumpkin pie.

We told him he would get pumpkin pie if he tasted everything... He LOVES pumpkin pie so he tried everything! He also kept saying "it's thanksgiving so I don't have to finish my food to get dessert!"

DD is only 7.5 months so still up for trying anything. She LOVED Thanksgiving. She ate 2nds and 3rds of everything, including roast carrots and creamed spinach.

My older two pretty much only ate rolls and a bite of turkey.
My youngest ate absolutely everything we gave her from green beans to sweet potato casserole. She was obsessed with thanksgiving!

My 2 year old ate turkey. She went nuts for it! She also wanted said dinner roll and we used that to bribe her into taking bites of other food. Oh, and of course, apple pie!

Haha. Literally all my daughter ate was one roll. I don't think she would have eaten anything else anyways but in her defense she couldn't have much else because I didn't cook so almost everything had dairy in it (dairy allergy).

He ate some turkey, some sweet potatoes and some cranberry. He doesn't like mashed potatoes or salad and he didn't want to try the stuffing. He ate the heck out of pumpkin pie.

He tried almost everything, although I didn't even bother with the brocolli. We bribed him a little with bread and then he discovered cranberry sauce and only wanted that. We saved pie till after bedtime so I let him eat a lot of cranberry sauce.

My daughter tried one of everything and lived it all! She thought corn was Mac n cheese lol. Dessert was a huge hit, especially when she secretly discovered she could reach the cookies on her own. I kept getting mad at whoever was giving her more until I realized it was her!!

She did ok. She ate one green bean, a bunch of turkey and that's it.

Hahahaha she ate about 4 rolls (not kidding, I thought she was gonna pop, people kept giving her more), scraped the marshmallows off her sweet potatoes, and ate some mac and cheese. That was it. Whatever. lol

She ate two rolls, couple bites of turkey, and couple bites of corn. She only ate the corn so she could have dessert. She ate the frosting off a piece of cake.

She ate a few bites of turkey and lots of corn! She also ate some crackers and grapes and pumpkin pie!

We had our thanksgiving feast last Sunday and my 2.5 y/o only ate two rolls, fruit, a few spoons of corn, and 1 broccoli floret. Tried and spit out turkey and ham.
We ate leftovers on Tuesday and Wednesday night and he devoured the honey ham, corn, broccoli, mashed potatoes and asked for seconds of the ham!!!
I think he was just too excited on Sunday.

He tried everything and his favorites were stuffing, spinach balls, and black olives.
I have the weird kid that hates potatoes and I made some kick-ass mashed potatoes. Salmon? Yes! Lima beans? Yum! Potatoes? Gag-and-scrape-it-out-of-my-mouth. Multiple occasions.

D ate a meatball, some corn, and 2 rolls. And lots of cookies (thanks, MIL).

LO refused to try gravy or stuffing, which honestly makes me question her maternity a little
She ate multiple rolls, and at least 15 cooked carrots. Wouldn't touch anything else, but raised her hand first to be served pie! lol

My lo ate half a roll, two bites of ham, and all of her broccoli and cheese. It could've been worse! Lol!

He ate 2 rolls, picked the grapes out of his fruit salad, and a veggie pouch I handed him. He was way too excited to focus, and we ate in the early afternoon and he passed out early and woke up hungry. Oops.
I think he was waaaay more excited about his lunch, as my mom prepared tons of snacky food for us before the main meal. He had carbs, carbs and more carbs, and too many powdered donuts given to him by overly loving big cousins before I caught on!

He loved it all, but he just loves eating in general and he's only 1 so I don't think the toddler pickiness has kicked in yet.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Haha yup! Sweet potatoes, cheddar garlic rolls, the candy off her gingerbread man, some turkey....the frosting off a cupcake.....some lemonade. A bite of pie. I think she was having too much fun to really eat.

DS mostly made a mess of his tray. I usually feed him lightly seasoned clean foods - so nothing with sauce or anything goopy. Yesterday he had a little bit of everything on his plate so the mess sticking to his hands freaked him out and he was mostly smearing his food everywhere. He ate a little turkey, a little stuffing rolled into balls, peas and carrots, craisins (that I gave him in lieu of cranberry sauce),
plain canned green beans, and clementines. He thought the mashed potatoes and gravy were weird, got frustrated with trying to pick up tiny kernels of corn and didn't like the way all the food stuck together from the potatoes. He also squished his pie everywhere. He did enjoy marshmallows for the first time as a treat and drank a ton of milk. He was also not that pleased with getting the same meal twice in one day (he got the same thing for dinner).

DD (6 months) ate corn/carrots/pumpkin purée and pears purée. She also tasted the mashed potatoes, gravy, and sweet potato casserole.
