Anyone been? I would be taking my almost 3 year old. And how are the seats? I don't want to spend a ton so I'm just going one grade above the cheapest...

Yes! I took DD1 at 3.5 when it was heavily Frozen themed and she LOVED it! I think the theme (and your LO's interest in it) matters big time. In our case, half the show or more was a condensed version of Frozen, the other portion featured short numbers from Toy Story, the Lion King, Finding Nemo, and other popular princess movies. We haven't been back since because the last I remember seeing it advertised, the show was Finding Dory centric, and my girls aren't huge fans.
We went with friends and got cheap seats, and it was totally fine for their ages/interest level - they could still see well - I think the overview/"big picture" vantage point was better than bring up close. plus I didn't feel badly in that location if they were noisy or wiggly.
One tip - its worth bringing your own glow sticks/light up toys purchased beforehand. The vendors aren't kidding that "all the kids use them", and their use is incorporated into the shows...but being Disney, it's about $25 for a plastic light toy once in the stadium. They're $10-$15 outside, usually, and DD was happy with a Target Dollar Spot version. We also got princess Jelly Belly beans from the checkbout area at TJ Max as a take along treat.

@PinkElephant: this theme is dare to dream with moana and frozen! I'm excited, lol! And great call about getting merchandise beforehand!

@snowjewelz: Oooh I haven't been watching much live TV recently to know when it'll be in my area.. I need to start paying attention to ads - my DDs would LOVE that theme; DD2 was too little to go last time.

We have gone twice. As mentioned above the merchandise prices are straight up out of control! The upside of having close seats is some of the characters jump/come out of the rink but that's really it for being up close; outside of the obvious being closer part.

@PinkElephant: I had no clue until a friend told me! They are also doing Belle!

We've been a ton with DD, as early as 1.5 years old and she always loved it

We took DD when she was 3 and she loved it! It was magical for her. Agree w pp's to avoid the vendors at all costs! Luckily DD brought her own Elsa wand and purse full of toys so we didn't have to buy anything.

We took DD for her 3rd birthday. We did front row seats...it was a blast. The best part about the front row was not only the view but DD could be up and dancing without disturbing anyone!
