We don't give gifts but I'll ask my LO for input on a dinner or dessert. We had tacos and ice cream sandwiches last night to celebrate 4.5!

We don't yet, since my lo is only 10 months. When she's old enough to understand, I'll do what my mom did and make a special dessert. It's a good excuse to make something yummy.

Only for the 6 month birthday. Probably also for DS2 when he is school aged. I had a summer birthday and so always celebrated my half birthday by bringing in treats.

Half-birthdays are really fun to remember. I'll probably do something small like an outting and sweet treat. Having fun with a purpose is always extra special.

Um. DD2 turned 1.5 yesterday and it totally passed us by.
I think when they're school aged I'll throw half year birthday parties because they're all born during winter break and no one is around for actual birthday parties.

No, we don't. 6 months will be a big deal for my youngest since he will be my last but I don't really find half birthdays something that I will do anything for other than make a mental note of ( if I remember)
