I've loved coloring my hair since junior high. Now I get balyage highlights once a year and it grows out ombre. I'm always trying to capture my childhood color, which was a very light copper brown/blonde. Now my natural color is a medium brown.

I've been coloring my hair burgandy red since high school! I'm a natural blonde 
Now I'm getting gray strands so it's even more imparitive that I keep up the maintenance lol!

Nope! I've got virgin hair! (Dark brown that gets some natural copper/caramel highlights in the summer).

I'm a natural blonde. I started highlighting it when I was 17, and that's all I did, just a partial highlight 2-4 times a year, until a few months ago when I went red. It's definitely more maintenance because I now have to go get my blonde roots covered pretty often, but it's fun to try something different.

I have very dark brown hair, but since the greys started creeping in I dye it a medium/dark brown semi with some lighter brown balayage highlights. it grows out natural looking which is good.

I used to color for fun but ever since having DS I have a ton of whites around my face. I get highlights every 6-8 months so they blend.

I have greys, so I have to! It's "blah brown" right now. But I've had just about every color. (Still has some red in it from when I tried to dye it red...) After LO arrives, I'm making my way back to blonde! My fave on me has been blonde with hot pink, regular blonde, or black.

Been highlighting since I was 13. Sometimes I totally change the color up. My natural color is a very boring, one dimensional flat dark brown. I look better with some blonde

Years ago I got highlights, but now I get so many compliments on my natural hair color (red) that I don't feel the need to color it.

Yup- only 1-2 shades darker than my natural color though. I do the ombré type highlights too. I am an early gray-er though, thanks to genetics, so I have to get my roots done every few months.

I do 1-2 times a year my hair gets red and brassy in the sun so I do lowlights or an all over color- usually 1 shade darker than my natural dark brown.

My natural color is black.
It's currently a very dark brown, roots are growing in and I go in for a glaze every 6 weeks.

Yep. Been coloring it since like 12-13. Ive been pretty much everything from blonde to black, plus blue, green, pink, fire engine red, and purple.
My natural hair is a dark ash brown. I currently color it a dark auburn.

@Mrs. Bee: I go to the salon about 2 or 3 times a year depending on how I'm feeling to get highlights, I'm a natural sandy blond, so I get a mix or light blond and a caramel colour to warm it up.
I think next time I'm going to get lowlights as well. I want to try something different!

Yep every 4-6 months! I get bored w hair color fairly easily and also have whites that are starting to need covering up!
In the last couple of years I've done red, ombré, balayage, black, dark brown, etc.
