I never did this before, but as our youngest has become more articulate... it's happened a few times!
Gosh I hope I don't become like my mom, responding to my kids' voices with the name of random children, my spouse or possibly the dog haha.
Do you ever confuse your kids' voices for each other?

Our two boys' cries are very similar, but the baby isn't really talking yet. I have a feeling when he starts talking the boys will sound a lot alike.

Yes! B has a higher pitched voice and E's is kind of deeper for a girl so they always sound similar!
At night if someone is crying, I can't tell the difference between all 3.

Always. Their cries are different but when they are just yelling and screeching (not using words) while they play, my 2.5 yr old and 9 month old daughters are pretty much indiscernible, probably because the little one learned her noises from the older one, and the older one sometimes copies the younger one when we are fussing Over a new sound she learned.
ETA: my older DD gets so offended when I tell her to tone it diwn but it was really her sister yelling!
