Sometimes you just gotta go, and there's no one else to watch your LO but you. So you bring them in there, and stick them in the rub.
Right? I'm not alone on this one, am I?

All the time! He is at the age too, then even if I try to go in private, he always has to open the door to see what I am doing!

Yeah... And when they were really little I've gone while they were sleeping in a carrier. Not as easy as it sounds. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

oh, we don't bother with the tub. he just hangs out and scoots around the floor. I can watch him and he can see me. Right now (at 8 months) he doesn't want to be very far away anyways. The really kicker is when you nurse on the potty cause there is no other way to do it.

I put my LO in the laundry basket outside the door of the bathroom, and he loves sitting there surrounded by clothes. I'll sit on the toilet and look back at him, and he will give me the biggest smile. I'll miss it when he is too old for that.

@brownie: Ugh, I remember having to do that. Good times, lol.
But, yeah, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. And like Rosie Girl said, he's at the age now where even when I atttempt a bit of privacy, he just comes on in anyways. (Except when I'm NOT home alone with him, then I lock the door)

@brownie: wait, you're able to nurse on the potty?? That's impressive multitasking!

I was impressed with myself when I was able to hold him while going. Totally not as easy as it sounds.

I've had to do it and most of the time he's in the bathroom when I shower. Shoot, if I didn't there would be many days where I was unshowered. Although, I never put him in the tub, he just scoots around on the floor.

Yes of course. My daughter follows me around everywhere. That'll be the day when I can go alone!

Yep! I've actually held her while I went. HA. I usually put her on her play mat or in her exersaucer though.
