I've never purchased anything that I consider a 'designer' brand. (ETA: Actually, I did get some Vera Bradley wallets from the outlets.)
So I was shocked when my sister got me a Kate Spade diaper bag. Whoah! I'm afraid to use it. Hehe.
ETA part 2: Oh, I lied, I got a Danzo diaper bag from Gilt a long time ago and also have a Jujube from an Amazon Lightning sale. Are they considered designer bags?

@bluestriped bee: nice!!! I've heard good things about that bag. I just carry my normal purse and treat it as a diaper bag. It's Michael Kors so I guess it's a designer diaper bag. Lol

Very cool! My diaper bag is just from Columbia. I can't justify spending that much money on a diaper bag, but I'd totally accept one as a gift!

I had a Kate spade for LO #1- I never loved it. I started using it again for li #2 and it broke (I fixed it once with some e-6000 and it broke in the other side) now I am using a canvas bag from 31 and it's perfect!

I will since I'm just going to use a diaper bag organizer for my new tote. My husband wants to get me the LV Neverfull for my birthday next month. But, the practical side of me is telling me just to get another Longchamp. I don't know how designer Longchamp is, but since it's not stocked at any Macy's near me I consider it pretty fancy for a nylon bag. LOL

I really wanted the Kate Spade one when I was pregnant. They're so cute! I'm thinking since I won't have to get very much new gear for baby number 2 it could be my gift to myself. 
I do throw a diaper and travel pack of wipes in my coach purse when I leave home with my toddler, does that count?

Nope! I use the Skip Hop Pronto changing station as my diaper bag. Will have to rethink things if DS isn't potty trained by the time #2 arrives.

I did get a Kate Spade one with LO1 and got good use out of it. But, after LO2 was born we just started using a regular backpack and LO1 carries some of her own stuff around (she likes to wear her princess backpack).
My Kate Spade one has held up really well and I think I could resell it easily.. But, it's pretty heavy!

For my toddler we love the longchamp le pliage. I think it's cute and roomy and hard to mess up. I don't think it would work well if you needed to bring bottles though, unless there's some kind of organizer to keep them upright.

I had a leather OiOi diaper bag which is kind of along the lines of Storksak. While I really loved the style and the stroller clips were great, it was looking pretty beat up within a year, and I'm generally pretty carful with my stuff. I was disappointed since it was a fairly expensive bag.

I have a Kate Spade one that's worked out really well but after almost 3 years of use is showing some wear. I'm thinking of getting myself a Madewell leather tote and using that for #2 while M uses a backpack if she needs it.

I have a jujube one (don't know if this counts) that I got on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. I really like it - I like the material - it washes stuff right off, has nifty pockets to hold crap in and it's comfortable to carry.

I use a large Coach duffel for my diaper bag. It wasn't really planned, but DH's work was having an auction and he surprised me by buying it (at a really cheap price considering).

With LO1 I had an ugly brown skip hop one. The zipper broke and I really didn't like carrying it. It just added to my feeling of looking frumpy post-partum. So with LO2 I "asked" for a Kate Soade one from DH for Christmas when I was pregnant with her. He bought on BlackFriday during their sale. I love it and it's such better quality. Worth it to me!

My sisters bought me a Kate Spade - I don't know the version but it's not the Stevie. It looks gorgeous but I don't really like it as a diaper bag. There are barely any pockets so it's just a bottomless pit. I hate to stop using it though because it was such a thoughtful gift and I don't want to hurt their feelings!

I have a lily jade bag. I absolutely love it. I never really spent money on a bag and I wanted something that would work both as a purse and diaper bag. I only got it because I got an unexpected bonus at work and it was on sale.

Hubs got me a timi and leslie bag for Christmas and I LOVE it. Prior to that I was using a SkipHop, which was fine, but I vastly prefer my t&l bag. I buy my purses at Target usually, so this felt like a big extravagance.

No...I have a skip hop and that's plenty designer for me. I don't get the need for a diaper bag that costs so much and is designer. If I'm going to fork the money for a designer bag I don't want it to hold diapers and dirty bibs!

I have a juju be prepared that i used for a while, but i realized it was too heavy and bulky for daily use, so i use it for travel only now. i also have a jujube quick that i use as a purse sometimes. after 2 years, the diaper bag i settled on was an old backpack that is very light and holds everything i need including my wallet, phone, change of clothes, snacks, etc. Inside it put it a ziplock bag with a few diapers and wipes etc. it is perfect for quick trips without the stroller, and sometimes with

I think Ju Ju Be counts as "designer"? If so, it's the first designer bag I've ever owned, nevermind just diaper bags lol. I picked it after watching a lot of reviews, seemed like a really practical choice for me. It's the BFF.

I have a Kate Spade messenger diaper bag and loved it! I retired my diaper bag a while ago and just use my regular purse now. The kids are both out of diapers, so I usually carry a bag of wipes when we go out (to wipe their hands after meals, etc).
I've actually been meaning to sell my KS, so thanks for the reminder!

With #1 I got a coach diaper bag from MIL and used it for 2.5+ years. For #2 I bought a Toni & Leslie on sale. Not sure if the latter is designer?

I got a Coach diaper bag as a gift, but honestly, the straps are not comfortable when it's loaded up with stuff. I would rather use my Skip Hop diaper bag when they were little (and had more stuff to carry), and use the Coach as they got older (toddler+)

I have a JuJuBe BFF, but before this thread I wouldn't have considered it to be a designer bag. I love it, it's one of the few baby things I bought that I have no regrets about.

I have a Kate spade Stevie and I'm meh about it, but I'm meh about diaper bags in general. I'm using it again for baby2. And it's useable since ds1 is potty trained and I don't carry much in it for him. Usually I just throw extra clothes dipes and wipes in my purse and use that as my diaper bag!
