We have a subscription to both... but I've been thinking lately that we really ought to choose just one.
Does anyone have a subscription to both? Which one would you choose if you wanted to choose just one?

We have both but I told my husband we could cancel Hulu. I think he likes seeing the current shows. I could take it of leave it.

i did, now we just have netflix & amazon prime. i got rid of hulu because we were watching things streaming through our roku & it wouldn't let us watch a lot of things we wanted to see saying we had to watch them on the computer not the tv, not sure what difference it made and maybe it's changed since then, but that's why we chose not to continue our subscription.

We have both and use both equally, so I'm not sure what we'd cancel if we had to choose one.

we just use netflix and amazon prime, but lately I must say netflix is getting better again. They were really good at first then got really sucky and now they are improving again.

I only have Netflix, but heard Hulu has more "recent" shows. Been to lazy to research and find out.

We have & use both. Netflix is definitely better for DS because he's got lots of options we've pre-screened, but we watch Hulu just about everyday..... No clue which we'd cancel if we had to choose.

We have the hulu plus membership. At $8 a month, it's really cheap and we like watching current stuff. There are a few shows that we have to watch on the laptop, but we don't normally mind.

We only have netflix but I was wanting to also get Hulu! I might just stick with netflix since I already have it.

We had both for a little while but cut to netflix. So many shows were only available online and we stream through our wii so having it available to stream was important to us. So many shows are available for free on hulu as well.

We have Netflix. We tried Hulu but found that all the shows we wanted to watch could not be streamed to our Xbox and had to be watched through the computer which was a deal breaker for us.

We have Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, and recently cancelled Netflix. I like to take the iPad to the gym and watch Hulu. As for Netflix, I hadn't found a decent movie there in ages, so I think its a waste of money.

We have both and I would keep Hulu plus over Netflix because I like watching the current shows. It works like DVR for me since I can queue shows up and they add automatically.

We have Netflix and prime. We tried Hulu and liked it but with cable it wasn't worth it. We also don't have a DVr on our cable box which I wish we did if it didn't cost so much. If we cancel cable we would get Hulu again.
Any recommendations for roku? I heard the search function on it was terrible.

We do, but we only have basic cable (12 channels) so it is worth it for us. Since we have networks, hulu is far less worthwhile than Netflix. I am thinking of switching to amazon so we can get the prime benefits....!
