I'll be 37 in October, and haven't had a white hair yet. I've read that the color of your hair/ethnicity can be a factor.
When did you find your first white hair?

Ugh...yes. very few but I noticed them here and there once I turned 30.

Yep! They're sporadically white though. Some parts of a strand are gray while the rest is my dark brown/black natural color. It got much worse at the crown of my head during last and this pregnancy! This is the in first year I've kept up w getting roots touched up though. I'm 31.

I've got heaps of greys, most above my ear/temple, but lots dotted through my hair. I have very dark brown southern european wavy hair, and the greys are quite fine and fly away.
I started getting them around 28? My mum was fully grey by that age.

Nope! But DH started growing white hair since he was 18!

Ugh you are all so lucky! I have dark brown Asian hair which shows all my white hairs. I seem to have them in patches. Luckily most are not on the top layer but they randomly stick out.

Lucky!! I found my first around 28 and got a couple more here and there. But after I had my daughter at 30 I got alot more. And it's pretty obvious since I have dark brown Asian hair.

I have a bunch of gray/white hairs, they started appearing even before I was 25! But at 30 there still aren't enough to bother me, even with dark brown hair.

I'll be 36 in a couple of months and have no greys whatsoever! My mom has only recently started getting grey around her temples in the past few years and she's in her mid-60s, so maybe it's good genes!

I've had a few since I was a teenager. There are definitely more now, but not enough to worry about yet. My mom had light hair and didn't ever really get any greys. Dad is Asian and has a lot of grey just in the front, but not anywhere else.

I have two, one in the front and one in the back. I will be 40 this summer, I think it's good genes from my mom. she's over 60 and just has gray at the temples.

Yes, I have a bunch. It started in my early 20s I hate it. I get my hair colored regularly.

White hair around my face. I get highlights every 6 months to blend them.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Yep - I've found them here or there ever since I turned 19, but I'm definitely seeing more and more ever since I had babies!
pomelo / 5132 posts
Not one. I'm almost 28. I think I take after my dad in that; my mom started in her early 20s. My cousin was gray at 14!! Irish go gray early, according to my mom.
pomelo / 5791 posts
Yup - got them right after I got pregnant with #1 @ 32. I've also heard that your hair color has a lot to do with it. Lighter hair has less pigment to lose.

@SugarplumsMom: down below?
I have them and guess I discovered them around 30. I was traveling for work and looking in the big hotel mirror. I now have them scattered throughout and I bigger streak right up front.

Wow jealous of you all. I found my first at 11! Yes 11! I've been coloring my hair since I was 18. My father's side was all gray /white by their 20s.
persimmon / 1179 posts
Yep, have had the odd grey here and there since I was 17 or 18. They have definitely increased in numbers since having LO. I'm 28 now and they tend to be in the same areas, along the side of my head.. most visible when I rock my ever-frequent mom bun.

I got my first when I was pregnant with D. Now I just have a bit coming from the sides of my hair. You can't really see it unless you look closely.
honeydew / 7463 posts
I found my first one when I was 28. They've slowly been multiplying since and for the first time ever I'm considering coloring my hair. I'm 33 (34 in Sept).

Since I have (dark) blonde hair naturally and some lighter blonde highlights, I can't tell honestly.
"Gray" hair is actually just white hair and if my mom is any indication, on Blondes, white hairs just start looking like really natural light blonde highlights, haha.

i started getting a few strays around 25--few enough that i could pluck. now, at almost 39, i have a small but noticeable group of gray hair, all in the same area. i went to the salon to get it dyed once, and it took so long that i haven't done it again.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Yup, but they only pop up when I'm stressing out badly. That's when they're more noticeable in quantity. Otherwise, I get a random one here and there, but not frequently.
pear / 1657 posts
I have quite a few, they are all up front in my bangs and around my face. Of course. I started getting a lot more when I was pregnant and pp. It's starting to look a little salt and pepper-y. My hair still grows SO fast even a year pp that it is too much time and money to keep up with coloring.
squash / 13208 posts
oh yeah - cant remember when I started getting them but I have very dark brown hair so they stick out badly!!
pomegranate / 3565 posts
I think I saw my 1st at around 19, but it was random. I would see them and pull them out. The past couple of years they are getting heavier. But I pull them out or they are underneath on the top so you can't totally see them. But I think I will have to start coloring in a couple of years. I'll be 37 in October.
coconut / 8854 posts
I have a few, not too many. My sister always makes sure to point them out though and pull them every time she sees me. LOL
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
I have a bunch! Started in my early 20s. I have a lot of hair though so it isn't super noticeable. My hair is a very dark brown but I have some batural random red and blonde hairs and I think those are the ones turning gray
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
Yup- since 18. My dad was nearly completely gray in his thirties and I can't even remember a time that my grandparents haven't had white hair- haha! I definitely have their genes I have to dye my hair because even at 25, it's out of control.
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
No white hairs yet.
My parents don't have a lot of white either.
hostess / cantaloupe / 6486 posts
Yep. I've had a few since 19. My mom was 100% gray by her 30s so I'm not surprised. I still seem to be okay at 23 without dying my hair. I only have a few....like 7. I figure if I can still count them I'm good! lol
