No! DH is getting snipped in a couple of weeks. I have a lot of pregnant friends right now so I'm excited to hold their babies.

Not even remotely. Currently outlook not so good for a #3. I want to slam that door and place all my furniture in front of it, but I'm leaving a very well protected crack in the door juuuuuust in case I change my mind in a year.

Yes! But I am still enjoying my youngest being a baby and am getting close to shifting my baby weight (5lb to go from more than 60 I put on) so am not in an immediate rush. When my period returns, we'll start trying.

Eek- seeing several August 2015 mamas on here with the fevah!!

We are two and through! In still enjoying DS being a baby and have a feeling I will be more emotional as he gets bigger since he will be our last. But I'm happy with our family of 4 and looking forward to purging the house of all the baby things as they are outgrown.

30 weeks and zero baby fever--I want a family so much but have never gone gaga for babies. I do have PUPPY fever, and that I have *bad*

@jhd: thanks!! What are you guys thinking about?

@smurfette: recovery has gone better than planned! I'm still trying to get strong, but my doctors now seem to think things would be OK. I can do most other things now, so we are dipping our toes in. Eek!!

@LovelyPlum: we haven't gotten as far as picking a timeline. I hope sometime in the next year!

I've got it under control I had the fever BAD a few months ago, and now I'm like "um maybe 2 is good?" HAHA I'm so undecided, I'm giving it a year and then we can make a decision. I was so set on 3 but as we plan to build, I see I'm only really planning for the 2 we have? It's a weird feeling?

@mrsjazz: almost!! We plan to start trying around August! I'm hoping for a June/July baby. I was super lucky to get pregnant in only four cycles with Cobi... So I don't think it'll take long.

big time! I never had it before my first.. I just kinda felt like we needed to get on with it.. then, a few months back I started to feel the tug when I saw chubby 7-8 month old babies.. Now, newborns, babies, 1 year olds - they are all killing me!

I kinda do! It has waxed & waned the last 6mos & when LO turned 1 last month I felt it more again. I recently had a Dr appt for some mild but odd abdominal pain & part of the testing included a beta hcg. Both DH & I were a little disappointed it was negative, though there was really no hope of a +. Lol! I was so envious of the beautiful baby bumps on the mamas in the Dr's office. I think if the additional testing in a couple weeks shows I'm in good health, we will get more serious about ttc--though I haven't yet weaned LO, so it may be out of my hands for a little while longer, anyway.

Kinda, I just went back to work so the plan is to start trying towards the end of this year so that I could start mat leave just before my big girl starts school in October 2017.

Meeeee! But we are two and through. My baby is 10 weeks now and every milestone, every piece of clothing she outgrows, I mourn. I cant believe I will never do this again. My first was super challenging and I hated every minute. This time, my baby is easy and I'm loving it! I'm secretly hoping for an oops!

Some days yes, other days the thought makes me cringe. We're in a good groove with our 21 month old right now, hard to imagine changing that up.
I feel good with one and done but wonder if I'd regret it later.

Yes the fever is building! We aren't going to try until next summer at the earliest though.

I had it really bad for the past year. Now I feel more like I do when getting ready to line up at the start of a marathon, still excited, confident it will be a great experience, but omg, this is going to really hurt and make me really exhausted

Yep! I thought I had it before LO but that was like a mild baby cold. And then for 2 years after she was born I was NOT about another. But now I have the baby rabies like you wouldn't believe.

  22. MOMTOLITTLEB

    persimmon / 1188 posts

Not really but we did just start trying last week. It was more practical timing than fever! I do get pangs of it sometimes since my LO has gotten so big now but my sister is due next month so I know I'll get some baby time soon no matter what!

I have a newborn and I'm savoring the experience as much as I can because he's likely our last but I feel so sad that there may be no more babies! That's kinda baby fever right?

  24. AprilFool

Sure do! Only 4 weeks to go.

Nope, not at all. DH had a vasectomy last July so that's a good thing. Our DD just turned 13 months and it's weird to be moving on from the baby stage.

@GoGoSnoGirl: I was nursing DS when I got my positive with DD

    pear / 1558 posts

@jetsa: Good to know! TTC is on my mind daily, but we still haven't decided to go for it. DH is in the middle of a very transitional year at work--not sure if we'll just say go for it or delay or even be 1 & done.

  27. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

Yeah, I definitely do. We recently had a loss at 18 weeks and I'm not sure if we have it in us to try again, so we'll see.

    papaya / 10560 posts

Now that I realized DH was sad that I didn't get a BFP and we weren't trying, I definitely have the fever! I had it lukewarm before but now I'm hot. The timing wouldn't have been the best for us but I was really excited about the possibility of a 3rd actually happening! I think we are going to go for it if we could try for an May/June baby of 2017.

I did a couple of months ago but DD2 (exactly 6 months today) hit a major sleep regression and then reality came over me. I realize now that I am totally done. I have always wanted 3-4 kids but I just can't physically give it my best at this point in our lives. However, I know of 4 older mommy friends and 1 aunt with grown kids who have told me they regret not having more kids. It's probably related to the empty nest feeling though but no matter how many kids we have, they too will have to find their way and purpose in life eventually and leave our side. Babies don't keep!

I thought for sure I was 100% done wit two but the past month or so I've been dabbling in wanting a third. I'm waiting until DD is at least 2 to really decide and then I would want to wait a few more months to have at least a 3yr age gap.

I'm currently pregnant (baby will here in 7 weeks!) and other than being incredibly impatient to be done with pregnancy I hadn't really felt much newborn fever for a while. That is, until I looked at Mrs. Starfish's 2 month update. And omg, those two teeny tiny squishy little girls! Now I'm getting more impatient to hold my own.

But in general, I can NOT WAIT to get these tubes tied and never be pregnant again.

I do! and we're TTC this month! DH was a little hesitant at first to really get into trying (I have to take clomid so it makes it really "official" when we're trying) but then the other night he looked at DD (16 months) and said "of course we need another one of those" and hugged me. Melted!
