My first Stitch Fix box is arriving today. I'm normally on a TJ Maxx/ Old Navy/ Target budget, but with my post partum body, I kind of need some help. I'm hoping that I can find an outfit.

I figured if I get one "Go to" outfit, then it will be worth the money after about 5 wearings. Yoga pants and old maternity shirts are the only clothes I'm currently wearing, so I need something.

I ordered one box and everything fit like a glove. I requested stuff on the lowest end of their price range (which is still more than I normally can spend on one piece of clothing), but I still felt like most was too outside my style (I wouldn't wear it quite enough) to make the price worth it. I did find the most fantastic pair of jeans that seriously fit like a glove and I adore. I got pregnant the next month (which I knew would happen the second I spent like $75 I think it was on jeans). I am hoping one day I can wear them again and I would be willing to order another box in the future if my budget allows it.

I recently signed up for it, my first box arrives in September. I am also trying to find clothes to wear post partum, so we'll see...I am a little skeptical on how things will fit and how trendy things may be (my style is pretty classic).

My friend has tried it and she actually kept a few things from her first shipment and was surprised at how well things fit and nailed her style. She told me the price of the items though and it's more than I wish to pay for clothing.

I've received two boxes. For the most part, I've liked a few things. One shirt from the first box is my absolute favorite. I'll admit that I'm probably on the higher end of what sizes they have that fit me so I promised myself a new box when I shed some lbs.

Admittedly, some of the items were way off. I asked for dresses for my brother's wedding and they were hideous. I started a Pinterest board so that they'll know my style.

I did it. I got 2 boxes. I kept one item from each one and then I stopped doing it because I got pregnant. I think its really fun! However I will say that their business model is such that you feel forced to buy one thing because you pay a $20 styling fee for each box regardless if whether you keep anything. however if you keep one or more items that fee is credited towards whatever you buy. So you can blow thru $20 and not keep anything or keep one thing and get $20 off and end up spending $30 for an OK but not great shirt. Its brilliant! But...I don't know if if do it again. I think they got my style a little wrong even though I wrote pretty detailed feedback.

My co-worker did it for three months and then canceled it. She brought in all her boxes to show me and here is her, (and my), take. She says that the clothes she received never really quiet captured her style even though she even created a linked pinterest board with items she liked. She felt the fit was fine for the most part. She also felt forced to at least keep something from every box because she didn't want to lose the $20 styling fee.

I saw all the clothes she received and I honestly was not impressed with the quality or styles. I shop a large price range for clothes, from Target/TJ Maxx to Bloomingdales/Saks and everything in between. So I feel I have a good handle on the quality of clothing to expect at various price points. I felt that the clothes she received were priced well above what their quality. There were tops for like $60 that I would easily be found for $30 at TJ Maxx or Nordstrom's Rack. The jewelry that she received looked very cheapy, (F21 quality) but was priced way higher. Also I just felt like the items themselves were nothing interesting or anything that can't easily be found at the mall.

I tried it out to see if I could up my (complete lack of) style, but I couldn't stomach spending that much money on a shirt. The vast majority of my work clothes come from Tar-jay.

My boss has done it & loves it. She feels like they send her stuff she would not have chosen herself which helps her expand her wardrobe.

I would love to try it even though we are on a budget but they do not carry plus sizes.

So I just got my first Stitch Fix box. The presentation is nice. The box with instruction cards are personalized. I'm a little sticker shocked on some of the items, even though I requested the lowest priced tiers. The 2 dresses they sent are nice in concept, didn't fit the way they should. One was too tight and the other was in an unforgiving material (shows lumps and bumps). One of the tanks they sent also was mashing my chest as well.

There were 2 pieces that I am thinking of keeping. A blue print tank and the grey open cardigan. The cardigan, although I think I probably could find it a TJ Maxx is comfy and I know that I will get a lot of mileage on it.

I have wanted to do this for ages but was ttc and afraid to waste money on clothes that might never fit me again. But I HATE shopping and would absolutely do it post partum to splurge once I have (hopefully) shed the baby weight.

I did one box- I have a hard to shop for body type (very large chest, pudgy tummy, short waisted, petite) so everything was just a tiny bit off in fit and definitely on the higher end of what is spend- but only for something perfect, you know? I have coworkers who love it and say the boxes get better and better with more feedback- so who knows?
