Thinking about getting the straw cup & food container for day trips this summer... Reading a ton of reviews that the cup leaks a lot?

We have the Thermos Funtainer and I like it a lot. I don't think we've ever had leaks with it.

Yes! We have the thermos and it is really great. It has never leaked and keeps food warm. I would repurchase it.

We have two of the straw cups and haven't had any issues with leaks.

I haven't found them to leak any more than any of our other cups and less than some...as long as the cap is on correctly. Sometimes it can be a challenge to get the cap to screw on right and if you don't realize it, it will leak all over the place. We've had that happen several times so I am just a lot more careful now!

@skipra: maybe that's the reason for some of the complaints!

I like it. The only time we ever have leaks is if the cap isn't screwed on right or the colored collar part isn't snapped all the way down- then it leaks a ton. But once you know to watch that it's easy and never leaks.
There is no valve in the straw though, so if your LO is tossing it around it will leak out of the straw, of course.

I like our foogo cup because it is so easy to clean. The other insullated cups I looked at were more complicated, or didn't disassemble fully for cleaning.
It leaks when it is open and DS throws it or tips it upside down because there is no valve - just an open straw that water spills out of. I have not had any leaks when it is closed. -
@Foodnerd81: @MrsLonghorn: Yeah, DD for sure is not careful with her um, cup placement haha. But I figure if we mainly use it when we're out, then it's alright..

We have a foogo straw thermos and it's never leaked! Love it. There's still ice in it at the end of a daycare day!
