Heard someone share a theory recently that most people prefer the season around their birth month. My first thought was, "How ridiculous!" But I love Autumn (when I was born), so maybe she's onto something!
Is it true for you?

Not really. I was born in April, and while I like the month and am usually ready for Spring I get terribly bad seasonal allergies, so I also dread it. I prefer fall and winter!

Nah. I was born in January. It's cold and the holidays are over. Boooo

It was my favorite seasons when I lived in New York (fall) but I hate it here in Texas because the weather sucks. It's still high 90s and humid in October here.

My birthday is in early February which I guess is still considered winter. Spring is my favorite season.

May and it is ok because it isn't super hot yet. I prefer the fall season.

@ValentineMommy: Same here. January and most of the winter (besides the holidays) blows. I prefer the summer!

My birthday is April, it's a fine month/season however I'm a huge fan of fall weather. April is too wet/muddy/allergy-ridden for my liking

I was born in April, and love the month, but I much, much, much prefer summer.

Another January birthday here. I hate the cold! I always wished I had a summer birthday.

No. My birthday is in April, and spring is definitely my least favorite season (not entirely because of my birthday, but it doesn't help).

I prefer the summer but the month of October is still a little warm. So yeah, I like my month.

I like all the seasons pretty equally, especially during the beginnings of the seasons, so I don't have a favorite season. However, May, where my birthday falls, is definitely my favorite spring month--almost always feels finally really like Spring here in the Midwest (we usually get snow still in March and April!), so it's in one of my favorite months. My other favorite months are June (beginning of summer), October (feels most like fall and usually no snow yet), and December (snow but not too much and the holidays!). My least favorite are the late-summer and late-winter months (March & September) where seasons feel like they have drug on too long--I'm ready for spring in March and fall in September.

I preferred winter (january bday) for the first 29 years of my life. After moving to GA, I prefer the fall!

I prefer summer and I was born the end of April. When I lived down south, end of April was great weather. Here in the northeast, its just rainy and cold and not spring-like enough.

Heck no! I'm so done with the winter in February and many of my birthday parties were snowed out!

Absolutely! I'm a May baby, and I LOVE love love the spring. It may also be because I hate winter and love when it's over, but maybe it's all tied together??

I am a Spring baby, and growing up it was my favorite season bc yes, it was around my birthday (not to mention the flowers and nice weather!)... but now, my favorite season is Autumn!! (Not that we even get an Autumn in Socal....)

October birthday and while I do love the fall, Summer is my favorite!

I was technically born a few days before Autumn began, but it's absolutely my favorite time of year. It has nothing to do with my birthday, but I love the fall leaves, the cooler temps and just needing a light jacket.

Well, yes I do! Although technically I have a summer birthday, for all intents and purposes my bday season is Fall.

@mrbee: Yep, I was born in early September and late summer/fall is my favorite time of year.

No I was born in June and I don't care much for summer. It's great and all but too much heat gets to me!! I hate sweating and bugs.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
No. I was born in November. I don't like November or winter that much!

Technically kind of. Born in early December it is still technically autumn but feels like winter. I hate winter. /: love the cool jacket weather and changing leaves of autumn. Winter is just too cold.

I was born in the spring(early April) and while I like spring, I much prefer summer!

My sister is a summer baby and this is so true for her! She is a summer queen. I'm June 8th which is techinically late spring. I do love spring. I think autumn is my favorite though followed by spring then summer. Interesting theory though. Ill bet it helps to grow up with a birthday around then. My husband is Feb 24 and he hates winter but he also grew up in Tampa area so maybe winter is different for him.
