...heated up in the microwave or in the oven?
DH prefers the microwave and I prefer the oven. I think leftovers in the microwave are awful and are never heated up evenly.
No point to this - but what do you think?

It depends on what it is. I never *prefer* the microwave but lots of things I don't see much difference, and the micro is quicker. If there's any bread in it I definitely prefer the oven, though.

Ha, I hate all leftovers but I only use the microwave to reheat.

It depends on what?!
Tacos? Microwave. Meat and potatoes? Oven. Casserole? Oven. Pasta? Microwave.

I prefer the oven over the microwave, or sometimes a frying pan will do too.

Same as @travellingbee: I rarelynorefer the microwave but most of the time it doesn't make enough of a difference to bother taking the a extra time and effort to use the oven. I do use the toaster oven sometimes.

Usually I heat up leftovers in cast iron on the stove. Second choice, over. Third microwave.

Usually oven but I more often use the microwave. But I guess it depends on the food.

@mrbee: so does my husband! NO MATTER WHAT IT IS (pad thai, pizza, chili, tacos, pasta) he eats it cold!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: the idea of cold chili makes me a little nauseous. Very odd preference!!

We're horrible at eating leftovers and I find that reheating in our little toaster oven makes it look more appealing. (Like crispier rotisserie chicken, pork chops, even pizza looks great too). It does take a little longer by 10-15 minutes. I microwave if I am in a hurry though.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Those are all delicious cold!! I usually add a little hot sauce to cold leftovers! Dang my mouth is watering thinking about it.

I eat most leftovers cold, but if I am going to heat something up, I use the stove or our toaster oven. I hate the microwave, and pretty much avoid it at all costs.

It depends, but I'm way too lazy to use anything besides microwave!

For anything that is supposed to be sauce-y I prefer the microwave because the oven dries things out (so like... pasta or lasagna or enchiladas). For anything that is supposed to be crispy (like pizza or french fries) I prefer oven.

Oven, even if it makes the leftover slightly crunchy. The stove top is good too for a quick heat up. Microwave is not bad for pasta and things with a lot of sauce, but I hate how dried out meat & fish taste that way.
