I have used my laptop backpack as a diaper bag. I like that it has lots of places to put things. I would prefer a backpack with just two or three zips, though, one intended for most things. It has two side elastic pockets that fit sippies very well!

I use my old college backpack as my diaper bag all the time. It has a lot of different compartments and storage spaces. It's The North Face's Isabella backpack.

I use a regular backpack. My fil got it for free but it's meant to be for high school or college kids. So far it's been a great way to go. It's an ogio backpack.

I bought a backpack recently to use as a diaper bag on a cruise. It was a fashion backpack, not a diaper bag. It didn't have any compartments other than a front pouch, so I bought several clear zipper pouches to organize it. It worked out great. If I did it again, I would buy a different brand that was less of a fashion bag and more durable, but it was wonderful having hands free and be able to bike ride with it on our trip.

I just switched to a backpack because I was tired of my EnviroSax Cookie Monster bag. I'm using DH's old backpack which we used for trips, etc. If he uses it for trips again, I'll get a cheap one for a diaper bag. It came in handy last night when LO was wide awake on the way home.

I use a Feed backpack from Target that's no longer available. It's a regular backpack but it does have two little pockets on each side that are perfect for holding drinks.
I usually use ziploc bags to keep things organized inside. I'm a light packer so have never really needed a diaper bag, and it's easiest to carry a backpack.

I use both, I have a Danzo backpack that I haven't really used and a regular pack.
I find the regular pack easier, I also orgainze with gallon ziplock bags, and it's really nice to have both hands free.

I really love these clear zipper bags, in case anyone is interested in a non-disposable option for ziplocs: http://www.amazon.com/Baggallini-Clear-Trio-Bags/dp/B00AKTKMLI

I do! We use a old Jansport backpack as a diaper bag. We need both hands to wrangle our toddler.
