    @Mrs Green Grass: totally agree!!

    I worried a lot when T was a baby because he was so small he wasn't even on the charts when he was born. For most of his life he has been around 5th percentile for weight and 15th for height. I stopped being concerned about food at age 2 for no real reason other than he's old enough to decide when he is hungry and can tell me when he wants or needs something. He's 29 months and still shy of 25 lbs. Me and my husband we're the same way as kids so it's genetics rather than food intake.

    No, not really.

    Lo1 had problems with vomiting for about six months, and when we finally figured out it was a dairy allergy he jumped from the 35th to the 60th percentile. So for a minute I felt terrible we hadn't realized the vomiting had affected him that much. And the GI told us to watch his weight to make sure it didn't keep spiking but it hasn't.

    Lo2 was 2nd percentile for weight, 3rd for height and 22nd for head when he was born a month early. At his two month appointment he was 60th for weight and 86th for head size. The pediatrician said we should keep an eye on his head to make sure it wasn't growing too fast, but I think he was just catching up to his true place on the chart. At his four month appointment it wa in the 93rd percentile. His brother is 95th for head size. It makes tummy time and getting shirts over their heads hard but they are fine!

    Yep, breastfeeding issues made me constantly concerned about weight gain. We seem to be doing well now though...

    @Rainbow Sprinkles: Same. At 30 months, my LO weighs 26 LBS on a good day She's tall, though, and is around 50% percentile for height. Girlfriend just does NOT EAT. It drives me crazy. I swore I wouldn't be the mom chasing their kids around with food, but when your kid only eats a couple bites at dinner, you don't have much choice...

    I honestly didn't worry too much until she started preschool last month and she is SO MUCH SMALLER than everyone else. Like, the other kids (2 - 3 year olds) are double her size. I worry constantly that she will get knocked over or pushed around.

    @Mrs Green Grass: @winniebee: Yeah, now that they are both off the chart for weight, I am beginning to re-think what I'm feeding them.

    I'm not stressed about it because I'm pretty tiny and was tiny as a child. Also, they are preemies and I know they should catch up by 2.
