I don't think mine look alike at ALL! Different coloring, facial features and shape, and different builds. I was thrown for a loop.. I was pretty convinced they'd be twins!

Not at all! Different face shape, eyes, hair. I am surprised too!

Sometimes I think they do, and then I look at pictures of DD1 from the same age and they don't even look related.

To me, they look alot of like when i compare pics of.them when ds#1 was a baby to declan now. They look like twins. D just looks like the darker.version of p. Darker eyes, hair and skin color

Yes and no. They have similarities but their coloring is different. Though I have some pictures where they look identical at the same age.
honeydew / 7230 posts
I don't think so, but I hear it more and more that they look identical. Once a little boy came up to my stroller and shouted "she's got two of the same baby in there!" But really I think they have very different face shapes and eyes.

Yes! My kids do and it's getting more that way the older my second one gets.
pineapple / 12566 posts
Very different. DS looks much more like me and DD looks much more like DH, and he and I are opposites in every way!
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
Yes! They're so similar that we have a hard time telling pictures apart.
grapefruit / 4819 posts
Not in the slightest! My sister and I look very similar so I thought for sure my girls would too, but nope! Completely opposite colouring as well as very different features and a different build.
nectarine / 2765 posts
Not at all! People often think they're identical twins but they are opposite in every way. One has curly hair, the other straight, one has a rounder face while the other is more thin.

@Caly: People are so funny about twins! I get asked all the time if they are identical. I always say "this one's a girl and this one's a boy." "But are they identical?" "Boys and girls can't be identical because they have different parts." "Yeah, but are their FACES identical?" That's not a thing people!! Haha!

I've been told they look like twins (they share the same birthday after all), but I don't think they do. They have different expressions, and Ellie (on the left) has way more hair than her sister ever did.

@sorrycharlie: I 100% think your girls look a LOT alike! Like a lot.
eggplant / 11287 posts
I don't think so. Maybe a bit? They have totally different eye shapes which throws me off.
pomelo / 5298 posts
They are three years and three months apart and at birth - yes, twins! And now that the little is 3 months I see differences, but everyone else still says the little is a mini of the big one. I just hope this little one has a bit less personality!

So much alike!!!! I think when they are older since they are so close in age, people would think they are twins.
honeydew / 7295 posts
We shall see soon enough! I agree your girls have very unique faces. C looks like your twin and O looks like your husbands twin. He would make a beautiful girl! Heheh. They are both so stunning and they share bits of both of you that do make them look like sisters. My sister and I don't look much a like at all.

They have different everything--eyes, noses, ears, face shapes, lips.. but they look like siblings!
blogger / nectarine / 2608 posts
I think the girls look nothing alike. Ellie looks a great deal like me at her age, and Lorelei looks like Mr. T spontaneously generated another person. But I do think both are totally adorable, and it's fun (to me) that they are each so unique.

They don't look at all alike. At least in my opinion. N at one year, E at one year.

@Mrs. Twine: I love that pic!!
I think they definitely share some facial similarities but their very different coloring, sizes and dispositions make them seem more dissimilar to me
pomegranate / 3706 posts
In some ways. They have different coloring and eyes, but look like sisters.

@MrsRcCar: that's a fantastic high chair I would love to find one like it someday.
@Mrs. Tiger: I only have 15 month old DS so I cannot play along but I have to say I've been in love with your sons face but especially his lips since I saw your early blog posts. Both your boys are just the cutest!
grapefruit / 4712 posts
@MrsHoneyC: truth be told that's the high chair at my grandmas. It was used for me and cousins.

No, my two boys look nothing alike. The older one looks just like my DH and the younger looks just like me.
grapefruit / 4584 posts
Similar coloring, very different facial features and body types. DD1 is totally me while DD2 looks more like my husband.
blogger / pomegranate / 3044 posts
@MrsHoneyC: Aw thanks! Yes he has very full lips, so funny because he suffered from "preemie jaw" earlier on, his lips make up for it now
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Mrs. Tiger: his beautiful lips kill me! Both of your boys are so handsome!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@twodoghouse: I think unless you know science, it's common to think both same sex and boy-girl twins can be identical. I didn't realize that until college!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: wow! No joke!
@LAZB: oh goodness they are both so beautiful. Sweet little angel Q
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: they look super similar!
@MrsMccarthy: thanks I love looking at pics of Q and L too of course
