What do you think? Is it warm enough? I received a Bundle Me after R was born but I read they're not safe to use because there's not supposed to be anything between baby and car seat. I just ordered a JJ Cole car seat cover instead.

The shower cap thing? I had one, I had a winter baby in the Alps, but we went from the garage to another garage mostly.
It's great for wind protection, to me that's the worst part.

I got ours for the same reason as you did... but I won't know much about it until LO arrives next month.

The family I work for had one and it was great, super warm, it had a little face cover which isn't terribly breathable but was fine for a one or two minute run to the car. She was always nice and toasty with it. We are in the midwest and it wasn't an awful winter so most of the time we wouldn't even put extra layers on her since we would just take her from a warm house to a warm car to another warm place.

Yup! Have one and loved it. We ways heated our car up and ran from the garage to the car. It kept her warm & protected from the wind. We'd unzip it in the car, since it was so warm!

We had the showercap like one. LO was born in February and she seemed pretty cozy in there!

We registered for the Bundleme, but after I read that thread about them not being safe/voiding warranty, I switched it to the Cover. I think w a hat, snuggly clothes, blanket, and the Cover that they will be warm enough! Like a sleeping bag!

We used the cover and really liked it. DS was born in November in Chicago and we never had an issue with him being cold last winter. I also used to take him on walks with it and to and from daycare.
