It's just coming in to Winter in New Zealand and we're having an early cold snap at the moment so I'm extremely grateful for all the lovely hand knitted cardigans that Miss A has been given! I try to keep A in at least one layer of wool everyday so that she's toasty warm at all times.

If wool touches S's skin at all he screams like he is being tortured. I am extremely allergic to wool, so though he doesn't rash yet, I think it is also an issue to be watched for him.

I pretty much exclusively dressed LO in wool from the time he was born (Feb 2) until probably April. I found a brand I really liked (Nui Organics) that's lightweight organic merino wool. Everything is so soft! Not itchy at all. I felt so much better dressing him in wool in those early months because it's temperature regulating.

DH is really allergic to wool so we decided to hold off until next winter before trying it.

Not except for shoes. I'm allergic to wool and because LO has so many allergies already, I don't wanna chance it. But on her feet it's fine

@Kemma: crazy to think that it's winter there! I don't think I would put wool directly on her bc it's so itchy and DH is allergic. But I would certainly do fleece lined wool bc it does get bitter cold here!

@zippylef: me too!! That is going to be SO cute. Now that they are older they can wear "cute" outerwear! uh oh to the wallet.
