My 3 year old is watching The Fox and the Hound 2 and she was crying during one of the sad scenes. She was really sad and emotional! 
She tends to cry during sad scenes of movies.

Mine just started doing this at 2.5. She gets worried at the bad guy scenes and cries at the sad ones. She gets over it quickly though.

She doesn't cry actual tears, but she definitely reacts to any emotional scenes. She gets pretty upset when Cinderella runs away and leaves her shoe. Lol.
