Mine thinks it is hilarious that we have real names. He doesn't do it frequently but when he does I'm not bothered cuz I know I am still purely mommy in his eyes (but he's only 2. A couple years from now it will probably be less cute)

He doesn't know that we have names other than mama and dada yet.

No, but he does call my husband, my father and mother by their first names.

We went through a phase a few months ago when she was calling us by our first names, but she hasn't in awhile. If I use DH's first name she usually repeats it, but that's about it.

We all (4 kids) often called (and still do) our mother by her first name. People often comment on it. I think it's because she took care of other children when we were young and it was less confusing to the other kids when we called her by her name as well. I wonder how I will feel when my future LO calls me by my name. DH and I joke that our LO will call my mother by her name instead of grandma.

Here and there they do - usually when I call for DH by his name the kids will follow suit.

Its funny at this age but my DSSs went thru a stage of calling DH by his 1st name as teenagers - ummm, no!

Not me, but he yells for my husband by his first name. If he doesn't answer to "Dada," he'll yell his first name. It's hysterical.

Sometimes, usually after our nanny does. He's 2 and knows he's being funny when he does it (we agree).

No, she calls me mommy and dad daddy or dad. She knows what our names are.
