Not really sure what this falls under, but co parenting makes sense I think.

I do just about all the baby stuff research- gear, parenting strategies, whatever. It's fine, I care more, I have stronger opinions, and he goes along with what I want. When we were registering for our first baby shower the only thing I asked him to research, because he had opinions about it, was the video monitor. He never did and I kind of randomly picked one that seemed reasonably priced, and it kind of sucks.

For baby 2, I want to just get another whole new monitor that can work with two cameras. I'd be fine going with a Motorola one based on reviews here but he insists he wants one that works with our iPhones and wifi. Fine- then do the research, find a good one, tell me about it. Not that hard right? He says he found some, I ask for the link, and he literally says "if you just google wifi baby monitors..."

Yes, dear. I have google too. He's driving me crazy with this. MIL wants to get the new baby a gift so it would be nice to do the research and tell her, if it isn't crazy expensive.

Anyway mostly a husband vent I guess, but does your SO do any research or is it all you? I think you can either research or let someone else decide, you can't have it both ways!
