I just saw a thread on puzzles for kids at the dollar store. I'm in need of puzzles for my kid but didn't want to break the bank so I think I'll head over to my dollar tree this week to look for some.
Do you have any dollar tree favorites? Especially for your child?
Mine are: helium balloons, pregnancy tests, spray bottles...

@mrs.kiwi: claw clips for me (I have super crazy thick hair and can only use one style), and little metal hair clips for my DD. I consider hers semi-disposable and don't feel too bad when we lose three in three days at the playground because a pack only cost me $1 instead of $3 at Target. They don't have a great selection but they're cheap!
And it just occurred to me that they'd have cheap plastic Easter eggs right now.

Snack containers for the kids, they have flip lids. Coloring books.

Hair ties. Coloring books. Sticker activity books. Sometimes even paint with water books! Plastic utensils.

Colored popsicle sticks for crafts (or just for a young toddler to stick in a water bottle), pom poms, stickers, basically whatever awesome stuff is in the craft section.
Also, my kid loves window clings and they have a great selection of whatever season/holiday is upcoming.
I also buy facial cotton rounds (for nail polish/makeup remover).
