Does anyone have or have you seen a dress-up rack for kids to put their dress-up clothes on? I'm talking about hats, shoes, princess dresses, firefighter coats, etc. My lo has a pretty big closet so we could put one in there or put it out in her play room.
Building one is not an option right now....we would like to stay under $50, definitely under $100.
Ideas?

Could you find a bookcase on sale? Then hang a tension rod in it?

We're going to make one out of either a old Bookcase or Dresser. Tons of great ideas on pinterest. That's her big gift gift this year.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: that is so cute! gonna save that pic to my desktop - hope that's not weird. we have a horrible bureau that used to be DH's when he was young, so instead of tossing I'll have him remove the drawers and "insides" and make the girls a dress-up armoire when we buy a new one!!

@sorrycharlie: that's what we did. This was my ikea dresser from college. I used it for a year, so it was in perfect condition. So we used it in Chloe's room for two years before she got Big girl furniture. It's 10+ years old but only used for 3 haha so, we removed the drawers, added a tension rod from Target and voila.
For reference, her dresses are size 4T and they hang nicely when the rod is positioned higher. She pulled it down a bit!

I wish I had space for a proper dress up "center." There are a ton on Pinterest, and I'd love to make one. We're just using a small toy box.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: cool! We have all old furniture from our parents. By old I mean solid wood stuff. I am planning on getting her a bedroom set when she moves to a big girl bed so maybe we will repurpose her dresser into a dress-up closet at that point.

@photojane: love the idea of drawers below for misc items. I've been scouring resale groups, eBay and cl for dress up / Halloween appropriate items.
I don't want just all princess dresses. Love the Melissa and Doug stuff but even on sale it's $$!
