He's never gone this long before. I'm probably stressing more about this than he is but he does seem a little uncomfortable. His little belly doesn't seem hard or anything... But he's really squirmy and has been having more wake ups than usual. Am I just being a paranoid FTM and this is a normal digestive variation or is it something I should be concerned about?

Everyone agreed it was no big deal, and normal. Sure enough he pooped on day 4. He'll occasionally go a day or two now, and I know not to worry.

My paediatrician said that it was normal for EBF babies (before they start solids) to poop 10 times a day or once every 10 days. As long as the poop is soft once it starts coming out, everything should be fine!

Totally normal, my lo goes a couple day between going. Watch out when your lo goes BC it will probably be a blowout!

Totally normal! Like PPs said, once a week or 7 times a day is normal.

Up to 10 days is fine for an ebf baby. My daughter went seven days a few times. They make up for it eventually!

my daughter would go up to 12 days with no bowel movement when she was ebf

Normal! Mine went 12 days without pooping as mostly breastfed baby. My doc said if by 14 days there's nothing then we will look into it!

My LO went 13 days around that time and then after then it was once a week like clockwork - till solids started. It was a nice break!

Normal! When t was EBF he would usually go 4-5 days in between when he was that age. It was nice. Haha
Breastmilk is so pure that there's barely any waste to eliminate. It's almost all absorbed!
