DD's turning 6 months soon and I'm diving into solids. Although she'll be eating fruits and veggies at home, I'm looking into some pre-packaged baby food for when we're on the go.
I'm hoping to hear about your opinion on Ella's Kitchen products. I actually bought a few for her to try at her grandparents house during Christmas. They seem really convenient! Though kinda pricey.
What are our thoughts on this brand or other brands? What do you recommend?

I've never tried this brand because of the price, but I have some friends who love them. I have gotten some similar pouch type baby foods at BRU on sale for 15 for $15 before and once got one kind for 20 for $15 on sale! They are very convenient!

We use sometimes. LO likes them, and I like them because you have two days to use them instead of 24 hours like other brands.

I like them for my dd. she loves the brown rice apricot banana it's her favorite! I do think some of the other brands in the pouches are fine too, we get the BRU ones and the Plum Organics ones, both of which are cheaper. Definitely a plus on the convenience factor for any of the pouch babyfoods! We keep some at my parents house for when we eat there too!

I live in the UK, so they're a little cheaper there. We buy them decently often and C LOVES them. They're definitely too expensive to be an all the time thing though. She gets them every once in a while. Her favorite is the sweet potato/pumpkin/blueberry/apple.

I didn't realize they have other pouch brands. They only had Ella's at my local grocer. I just checked and they're a little bit more expensive here, even though the UK is closer. I gotta check the larger stores to see if I can find those other (cheaper) pouch brands for sure!

We use Ella's and they're great, super convenient and very tasty. The price doesn't bother me because we're just starting out nd LO is only eating small quantities so one pouch easily lasts two days.

We liked these as well as the sprout brand. We didn't like the happy belly brand as much. We also used for on the go.

LO didn't really love any of the pre-packaged baby foods, but he did enjoy the Ella ones. They don't come out often, but they so have the occasional $1 off coupons and that's when I would stockpile them.

We did pouches on the go too! We never tried the Ella ones because they were the most expensive when we were using purees. Sprout pouches were my favorite. DS ate the best with those and they didn't have a bunch of added ingredients. The ones I tried were really tasty! We tried the Plum organics pouches but I'm not really a fan. Most of them have pureed apples as their first ingredient. I didn't realize it until we had been using them for a while and we ended up dealing with some serious constipation.
