My older LO has been weaned for 6+ months and I'm only 11 weeks, but I feel uncomfortably engorged - really sore and really full. Has this happened to anyone else?

@Applesandbananas: do you just mean your breasts feel swollen? Or are you lactating again? My breasts have felt heavy and swollen, but I'm definitely not lactating.

@Silva: I don't think I've ever completely dried up from LO1, if I hand express, some definitely still comes out, not that I hand express regularly.

Yes. I'm the same way. I weaned less than six months ago and I feel very hard/lump/engorged. Much more nipple sensitivity too. No milk comes out though.

I weaned a week before I got pregnant. My breasts were very full and tender with both pregnancies, and at the end of my second pregnancy there was probably a bit of milk that would come out, but they weren't truly engorged. That came after baby was born, big time.

@Foodnerd81: yeah, maybe it's just that! It feels like engorgement pain though!
