Does anyone have one? Do you like it?
Any other recommendations besides wood? Does anyone like glass? We have the wooden Costco one that you can change out the plastic toppers easily...but I think it's time for a change.

We have an epicurean one, it is great. It is light and fairly thin but very sturdy. We don't put it in the dishwasher and it is large - so we also have a couple of ikea cheapies for quick/small tasks. We also have some bamboo boards that hold up very well.
Glass is terrible IMO - my MIL had one and it made all the knives really dull and the feeling of a knife on glass was unpleasant.

We have several and I like them a lot. I can't STAND glass cutting boards... the sound of a knife on a glass cutting board is like torture to me.

Glass is awful, MIL has one and i hate using it.
I have the Epicurean ones and love how thin, light and sturdy they are. It's a little more pricey than bamboo ones I can find, but mines held up so far for 5ish years and still going strong so I think it's worth it. It does't get a beat up as bamboo ones ive had in the past.

I have seven or eight Epicurean cutting boards in several different sizes. I put them in the dishwasher. They've held up well for several years (at least 5, maybe even 10), but it could also be that because I have so many, I use each one less...

Love mine! I have a medium and large size, bit of an investment but I love that they go in the dishwasher in addition to working well. I have invested a lot in dishwasher safe things and it's so worth it

OK where did you get your Epicurean? I'm tempted to buy one online but I would love to just go to a store and pick one up tomorrow.

I hate my Epicurean stuff. When it's new, it smells awful... I have one of the pizza peels and I can't use it because it infuses the pizza with its stink and I can't eat it. I eventually washed my cutting board so much the smell went away, but ended up tossing it because tiny pieces started coming off in my food. Not a fan.

I have one and love it. My mom really likes them too.
We've gotten ours at Bed Bath & Beyond. Coupons help price wise.
I can't get DH to understand what does and does not go in the dish washer, so we have bamboo boards that are splitting from being washed, but the epicurean ones have held up great. I don't remember there being a smell when we got it new, and I'm pretty sensitive to smells.

I love mine! I also got it at bed bath and beyond. I have a lot of cutting boards but it's the one I use the most.

I have been using epicurean cutting boards exclusively for years now. I recommend getting one with rubber pieces on the corners so they don't slip.
I usually just buy them on Amazon, but I've bought them at local kitchen stores as well.

my husband has slowly collected epicurean cutting boards for a few years, to the point where it is the only thing we have. We LOVE them! I can't stand using other cutting boards now!

i LOVE them. I have 5 or 6 in several sizes. For the smaller sizes I like the rubber edged feet. I'd love one that has a juice run off cutout, like for cutting meat.
Warning: they do have a smell for the first few washes. We've put ours in the dishwasher daily for 6+ years and they are still going strong.
ETA: Glass will TOTALLY destroy your knives

I like them a lot! I was on the fence for a long time but decided to change our cutting boards last summer. We have 2 and I use the smaller one every single day. So far, so good. I hand wash ours.

@Littlebit7: oh, the juice cutout is SO useful!
In addition to the regular ones, definitely get one with the groove for cutting meat or other juicy foods!
