I'm considering signing up to sell Usborne books, primarily because my wish list of books I want from them is huge and I'd get the discount. Has anyone done this? I don't want or need to make money off it really, I just might offer it to my friends at the discount too.

I have an account to sell - I too did it mostly for the discount (I only had to pay $25 to sign up). The downside is it costs $8/month to use your account...
So for me, I turn it on twice a year and make my purchases, offer the discount to my friends and family (keep in mind you will owe taxes on that discount...so I'd consider offering them 20%) and thats it.
Otherwise I have no issues with it!

@Mrs D: That sounds exactly like what I would like to do, I didn't know about the $8 fee so doing it just twice a year or so would make sense. Thanks!

@HappyBaker: absolutely! I know there is another Usborne junkie here on the bee that does the same thing...just can't remember who it is! If you ever want to compare wishlist let me know!!!
Also, you usually get 3 or 6 months fee free when you join...so it's just as years go on that I only turn it on 1 or 2 times a year!

I signed up last fall through a kit sale. I sold enough to not have to pay full price Che for the kit and to get a bunch of free books. Then I let myself go inactive.
