DS turns 3 in January and has asked Santa for "games".
What are your favorites for such a little kid?
Bonus points for not being focused on colors because we think he might be colorblind!

DS is almost exactly that age. If you can find it, my son LOVES this game: https://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-104010000-100E-Cranium-Cariboo/dp/B000063XO3
Since he's really into counting, Chutes and Ladders has been good too.
Spot It is good. Memory and Matching games as well.

Our almost 2.5 year old has a matching game that she loves. I think there's lot of varieties. You lay the cards out face down them flip them over looking for the ones that match.

DD has Lucky Ducks, Paw Patrol Bingo, and Connect Four (which has been great for learning to take turns!). For Christmas she will be getting Candyland, Mousetrap, Yeti in My Spaghetti, and some type of memory match game (probably the My Little Pony one). She loves to play with the pieces and we really like to see how she interacts differently with the game as she grows.

Spot It is a huge winner in our house! Pop the Pig is one that both of my boys love, and even though he doesn't know how to play it, Connect Four is one that my 2 year old loves to "play". He really just likes to put the little chips in the board. Yeti in my Spaghetti and Leaping Letters are also two that help with fine motor skills.

DS just got Break the Ice and loves it, his favorite gift from his birthday! And the giggles every time he breaks it is priceless.

Agree with memory matching games.
I got him candyland for Christmas and Hi-Ho Cherry-O, the mickey version. It does include colors BUT each color is associated with a character. So even if he can’t tell the colors apart he can still do it by character.

Jumping Jack Pop Rabbit game was fun, we still play it sometimes and my son is almost 7
We also had Pop the Pig and Chutes and Ladders that got a lot of use at that age.
Spot it was good, anything by Blue Orange, really.
I buy games on Amazon, there are sooo many options.

We got DD Candyland and Preschool Lotto a few weeks ago. She's not quite 2.5 and can't figure them out yet, but has a lot of fun making up her own rules for playing. (she does understand the point of Preschool Lotto, but insists on playing all the boards)
