I don't know why this is so hard! We will do family photos when we have our baby in August and I want one cute, summery outfit and there are so few options in newborn! My first was only 6#10oz and wore newborn for 6 weeks so I'm fairly confident this one will need newborn at least within those first two weeks. I've found Carter's, Janie & Jack, Gap and Old Navy so far and everything is basically pajamas. I just want a cute romper that looks summery!

@catlady: Thanks! I like the one you posted but I'm hoping for pastels for the photos, they have so much bright stuff right now! Some is adorable but we have so much from my daughter so I'm apparently holding out for the holy Grail!

This is my favorite brand / outfit. I'm currently loving this outfit. It runs small so I think 0-3 months would probably fit.

I really like the indie brand January and June. They have rompers that fit like a one piece swimsuit and a tank long legged romper. I've got some dresses from there for DD too

@youboots: I was going to recommend June & January too. I am addicted! You can resell most of the clothes for close to what you paid, sometimes even more if it's a hot commodity.

I wouldn't recommend their 0/6 size for a newborn though.
