For summer, my 18 mo DD had:
Crocs (her favorite)
Saltwaters (my favorite)
Keen-type sandal/sneakers (can wear with or without socks)
She is growing out of these shoes fast and I am looking towards fall. I already have a pair of ridiculous sparkly TOMs (thanks, mom! :silly) and a pair of plain black dressy shoes... but what else do I need? I want some sort of sneaker/walker that will go with everything and that will last all fall. What are your favorite toddler shoes?

See Kai run sneakers are my favs hands down. She wears a pair every day to day care. I bought her 3 pairs on sale, $20 each, for the fall/winter. She is rough on them but I clean them off and they look great.
I also got a pair of navy mary janes and grey boots from SKR sale. I think all we are going to need for the fall/winter is some black Mary Janes. I haven't seen any I like for the price yet.
I don't like the bulky ones like Nike's. Someone just gave us a hand me down pair, but I am not a fan. We will see how she does in them. She has a couple pairs of Tom's but they just don't fit her feet good, always falling off.

I love all Stride Rite shoes - DD has has several pairs of sandals, gym shoes, and now some black Mary Janes from them. Love them!

@Smurfette: I love Nike!!! LO loves them too. She's very picky about footwear and always goes for her Nike. Lol They're bulky but soft. I feel like the older skr look so rigid?

@Smurfette: haha shoes are about the only thing she is ry picky about. I got saltwater off the classifieds. She wore them twice this summer. Le sigh.

@locavore_mama: I bought some shoes too off the classifieds and she can't wear them. The tops of her feet are chubby and so many shoes don't fit her right. Bummer!

Summer: Saltwater sandals. Still has trouble with our SKR hard-soled sandals.
Closed-Toe: FP moccs, Mini Melissas, and SKR Smaller shoes. She still can't walk in Nikes yet. Seems to trip over them every time.

Last fall/winter she wore fuzzy ugg type boots from target with nearly everything. I can't wait to buy her more this year. Otherwise, I like OshKosh and Carters sneakers, they are very flexible and affordable. She also loves running sneakers and recently picked out a pair at kohls (jumping beans brand).

I got DD 2 pairs of converse, and I'll get her a pair of toms and a pair of Nike's for fall. Winter I will get her some boots.
