I'm looking for one that makes chewy and soft chocolate chip cookies. Any good ones to share? I thought it would be a fun Christmas activity with LO and DH.

These are cinnamon chocolate chip cookies & I love them!
1 cup butter shortening
1-1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 t vanilla
2 cup flour
1 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t ginger
1/2 t salt
12 oz choc chips
1 c pecans/chopped nuts (optional)Chill dough for at least an hour. Roll in walnut sized balls in powdered sugar. Bake at 375 for 10mins. Mmmmm.
