Love it! We go for a nice dinner. It's a dating anniversary for us too.This month I'm bringing out the big guns! It's been a long 6 months. I ordered Preseed and I'm going to start charting.

@Shizaz: I've been using preseed and it's...weird. I think the recommended "dosage" is maybe too much? even DH said so.

@marley: That's what I've been reading! I think I read somewhere someone said to cut it down to 1/3 of what they recommended. I don't think I will use the full amount. It's expensive, so I'm totally not opposed to using less!

@marley: @Shizaz: FWIW, we used preseed when TTC DS2. We definitely used like 1/4 of the recommended amount. The amount they recommend is like....well....a slip n slide! lol

What's up this month: T turns 2 on the 21st and has his birthday party. I've got to get that all together. I'm excited for his birthday! Also doing a lot of work and promotions for my Etsy store to try and boost sales even more.
For Fun - Valentine's day... We usually don't do much. I'm really, really hoping a BFP will be our Vday gift to each other this year.
No testing before 2/14. Use OPKs to narrow down ovulation. Probably BD every other day after AF is gone (today!) until well after ovulation. Taking prenatals this cycle.

What's up this month: not much! We always have a big Super Bowl party and have a long weekend away with some friends planned at the end of the month

So I found a new doctor this month who I LOVE. She will do monitoring ultrasounds while I'm on Clomid, which my previous doctor did not, and sent me for bloodwork to check my hormone levels. It's so nice having a doctor that is so proactive. I also started acupuncture with an acupuncturist specializing in fertility. And of course, the usual charting, OPKs, Preseed, etc

What's up this month: It's weird, the longer this is taking, the less I'm into it. I'm not temping, using OPK's ( though I did order some for this month.) I had no clue what cycle day I was until I started this form. Usually I'm so obsessed with this stuff.
For Fun - Valentine's day... Love it? hate it? plans? Not a fan.. I'd rather be surprised with something on a different day. But, if my husband got me flowers or something I'd be totally stoked! ( Not that he ever has in the 8 years we've been together haha) -

@lilyann: I have a DD who will be 2.5 ( tomorrow technically haha ) and I have a DD who just turned last week! We were shooting for the 18 month age gap this time again as we've really loved it. Alas that didn't happen haha. How old are yours?

@MrsB2012: That's so fun!! DS1 is 3 (Sept 2012), DS2 is almost 20 months (June 2014). We loved our 20 month gap but needed more time to space out daycare cost.

What's up this month: Nothing different! Had good timing this month BD both days before O and day after so, definitely could happen!
Wondering if I should get back on baby asprin as I took it with DD RE reccomended it, but not sure as to if I truly needed it, trying to just take it easy with TTC and not stress at all just track O and enjoy

TTC Cycle: #5, but it looks like #4 didn't count, since based on when AF came, hubby wasn't even home at all during my last fertile period. If my cycle had been 27-28 days he'd have been home for the last day or two instead on none
Ovulation Date: the 6th if my cycle is 26 days long.
POAS Date: For arguements sake, probably the 19th, but I won't be bothering unless my hubby is home right around I get some CM.

Love the concept just not the exact day itself. So nothing planned yet for us. My SO's birthday is Feb 1st he will be 37. So depending on how this month goes maybe I will have a surprise for him. We try to celebrate valentines day after the day. So busy and crowded everywhere, honestly we will probably stay in them have a romantic date night later in the week, -

What's up this month: this was our 2nd month being medicated via an RE. Took clomid for 5 days, 4 gonal f shots, trigger shot on cd15 and TI . At my monitoring appts I had 3 dominant follicles. I just started the TWW and will begin progesterone suppositories until my blood test at RE. Really hoping this is it!!

Our plans are to do a family breakfast for Valentine's. It's a tradition we started on our daughter's first Valentine's Day and I love it.

@Shizaz: We used it for 2 months with no BFP. The third month we didn't use it....and got our BFP. Coincidentally (or not), the month we got pregnant with DS2 and didn't use the preseed is also the 1 month I had fertility acupuncture.

What's up this month: Work is super intensely crazy this month so that will be a great distraction. My last cycle was 41 days, when they average usually between 29-34 days. I'm really hoping it'll be a bit more normal this round and I can be part of this month POAS club I'm trying not to put pressure on the fact that my Mom's birthday is in early March and my IL's are visiting in early March also! How early do you all start using OPKs? I'm CD10 today and haven't yet but I plan to tomorrow. I've only taken OPKs for one cycle last year so I'm not familiar with them.
Was hoping to already be BDing by now but we've been lazy. Lol. TTC sex isn't fun.

@artsyfartsy: I usually get a positive OPK between CD17-19, and on occasion I have had a positive on CD15. So I usually start testing on CD13.
When I wasn't as familiar with my cycles, I started testing once a day around CD10, and increased it to two times a day around CD15.I kind of agree about the TTC sex. I feel almost bad asking DH if we can do it so often. I know he gets tired. I get tired too, but I want this so bad that I don't care. He doesn't have baby fever like I do.

@Shizaz: Thanks for the advice!! I never thought about taking them twice a day. A positive means you're 1-2 days from O right?
DH wants to be pregnant ASAP too but he doesn't understand the TTC obsession in me. Lol

@artsyfartsy: Yes, if it's positive it means you could be 1-2 days away from ovulation. Now that I'm more familiar with my cycles, I only test once a day though. I find that I get ovulation pain about 12-24 hours after a positive opk so I am guessing that's when I ovulate or am about to. I'm charting this cycle though, so we'll see how that turns out.

@artsyfartsy: when I used to take them before, I started around cd15, but I have longer cycles. Now I know my body pretty well, so I pretty much only take 1-2 a cycle, just to confirm my signs.
I got a positive opk today, it's gotta be lucky that I got it on my birthday, right? I feel good about this cycle. I've barely had any ewcm the last few months, but this month it's way better. Fingers crossed -
I got a faint line on an OPK this morning. I know that's not positive but I'm having a LOT of CM too so we're getting close

What's up this month: I'm not confident that we will really have a shot this month because I have needed clomid to get pregnant with both my babies, and I have a stupid short luteal phase. I'm hopefully going to start clomid next month. My DDs first birthday is in a week, so we are going to enjoy our last bit of bfing before weaning and totally jumping into baby making. A small part of me still hopes to get pregnant on my own though, so I'm doing opks.
