I haven't read a romance in almost a decade, but loved Nora Roberts, Judith mcnaught, Johanna Lindsey, Julie garwood.

I definitely have a couple of Nora Roberts, lol. I think I have a couple Danielle Steele, too...I guess it depends on your definition of "trashy". DH considers my Phillipa Gregory books "trashy".
I think the trashiest I have (and love) is the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning.

@DiamondEyes: bahahah I'm so not up to date! They had the new one on the library shelf so of course I checked it out. It's an interesting series.
@lovehoneybee: haha open to interpretation.

I don't have a favorite but I do love me some trashy novels.
My Mom actually just sold her first one! It will be published in Dec '14! I haven't read it yet cause I told her I wanted to wait till it is in print!

@Smurfette: that is SO cool!!! Wall me and I will support via checking it out at the library. LOL

@locavore_mama: Oh wait wait wait. I can't believe I'm about to publicly admit this--but I own all of the Twilight books. My cousin bought them for me for Christmas right after the 4th one came out, I didn't know much about them but there was such a big to-do about them that I read them all to see what all of the fuss was about...ugh.
Also, I have the first 50 Shades of Grey book, although I don't think I even made it halfway through it. I thought it was so silly that a book heralded as such an erotic novel had the girl constantly referring to his vagina as "down there" in a most childish way. Again, wanted to see what the fuss was about..

@SugarplumsMom: haha InDeath series is a great one to start because there are SO many!!! And the library carries them.
They're crime mystery, but there is humour, romance and of course a little NR raunchiness. Nothing like Danielle Steele though. hehe

@lovehoneybee: haha I have the first Twilight because BIL's exwife bought it for me. I heard SOA lead was casted as the lead so now I want to read the book so I know what the movies are about!

@locavore_mama: I'm seriously about to buy The Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy by Nora Roberts. I'm reading the intro out loud to DH and he's rolling his eyes. Hahah!
Edit: Damn, it's not released yet!

@locavore_mama: Neither am I. I haven't read one in quite a while. I'm in the middle of a series right now so once I'm done that I'm totally checking out the e-library to see what's available for some Eve and Roarke action!

@locavore_mama: Hmm...February seems like a good trashy book month, yeah? I was thinking more love-story or romance themed, what with Valentine's Day at all, but I'm open to suggestions
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@lovehoneybee: omg. That is genius. So thematic.!

I'll admit that I'm a book snob but I love Charlaine Harris' books. I've read all of the Sookie Stackhouse and Harper Connelly books.

Life is too short not to read trashy books. I read enough non-fiction for work, this is how I relax. I used to read Nora Roberts (her Irish trilogy and Chesapeake series are favorites). Lately I'm reading a lot of Kristan Higgins, Marie Force, and Jill Shalvis.

@mrsjazz: Oh I loved the Sookie Stackhouse books too, although I haven't read the last two...
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@lemondrop: Three Sisters and Keys were my fave! I could reread those all the time and cry each time. LOL

@locavore_mama: haven't read them yet, will have to add them to my list- thanks!

I love a good trashy book: NOra Roberts, yes I've read all of Twilight and 2 1/2 of Fifty Shades before I said enough was enough.
I will see the movie ONLY because "Jacks" is the lead. I want to see how he pulls it off...and really any excuse to see more of that naked body...yummo.
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
@LuLu Mom: bahaha only reason I'm interested in the book now.
