So I thiiiiink I may have started my first PP period. As of Wednesday I day weaned from nursing, and am only nursing morning and night now. My DD just turned 1 on the 4th.Yesterday I had cramping, and bleeding. today, the bleeding is pretty light, but still bright red. If bleeding stops, would this still be considered my first PP period? I thought the first one was normally really heavy??

Is your period normally like this? I'm 3 months PP and just got my first period. It wasn't much heavier than normal and lasted the same amount of time - about 6 days.

It sounds like the first postpartum period. Mine was a bloodbath at 7 months pp. They're still pretty heavy on the mini pill, but I've got about 6 weeks left on that pill until my annual appointment.

@fancyfunction: truthfully idk. I have PCOS, so I would never get a period normally, and even when TTC for DD, I guess my periods were a little heavier than this, but not bad at all.

@cascademom: I thought so too, I'm just confused why it's sooo light and short?
