I haven't changed a thing in my bathroom since we moved in and I really want to revamp it.

What color should I paint the bathroom??
The tub, toilet, and tiles are a tan color.

Do you get a lot of light in that bathroom or are there no windows? I'm thinking of a burnt orange or a darker blue if you're getting some light!

@2PeasinaPod: Hey lady! Happy New Year! I do get a good amount of light in there but I do get nervous about dark paints only because I feel like they typically make the room look smaller but I did have my eye on a plum color

I have palladian blue in our bathroom that has no windows and I love how it makes it feel light and serene. I had it in my last bathroom that had tan and it looked nice together. I also just tend to go with the blue/green/gray family of colors to begin with so I am not very adventurous!

Plum would be lovely! It's tough when you have tan instead of white. I love the crispness of a dark paint next to pure white tile.

@psw27: I like that color! I originally was thinking like a mint green kinda color and that's kinda close.
@2PeasinaPod: Ugh I know! I hate that the tub and toilet are those colors. Eventually I'll change them but not right now.

We painted our bathroom in our old house moonbeam by Valspar and I liked it so much we did our bathroom in the new house this color too. It's very spa-like and I like that I can add brighter colors with accessories or decorations rather than the walls being an overpowering color. http://m.valsparpaint.com/color-detail.php?id=1952&g=1014

@kiddosc: Love that color! My bathroom ended up being more of a baby blue and I am thinking about getting it painted when we have someone come to do my toddler's new room.

@kiddosc: That's cute! I think it's funny that they have a similar palette at the bottom with my bathroom colors.
