@runnerd: No way for kids shoes they will wear for a couple months.

@runnerd: I know! I told DH they cost 40 and he was like HA THAT'S ludicrous. I didn't even know they were 60! Ouch! LO has a pair of minnetonkas that to me look very similar, all leather. They were only 19! They are his 'dress up' shoes, lol!

I just saw this!!!! I was blown away! Baby Toms are only $31 at Nordstrom and even that can be a little steep. (Although I would buy them cause I own a few).

I love them but I don't pay that much for my own shoes (that I don't outgrow in three months)!

Cutest moccasins ever! I want them so badly for my LO, but I can barely get shoes on her now. Yay for Freshly Picked getting on Shark Tank!

She is really an inspiring mom-entreprenuer! I also loved the story from the SwimZip mom!

I love the company and the mom who heads it - I follow her on IG and she seems so inspiring and down to earth.
But can't help but agree that I would never pay $60 for baby shoes. The biggest sale she had was 25% off and that was still too high for me. The most I've ever paid for J's shoes was $30 and that was recently because now he'll be in sizes a little longer and he needs good quality shoes since he is so active.
For anyone interested, I found this etsy shop selling baby mocs. They are $36 each, so more reasonable. Sadly they cut off at 12-18 months. https://www.etsy.com/shop/SophieKateMoccasins?ref=listing-shop-header-item-count

I just watched the episode on Hulu Plus...OMG love those mocs. And the mom that started it is awesome. I think I'll buy a pair for M when she starts walking (maybe as a birthday gift). I just love the mom's story and wouldn't mind spending that much to support her business.

@Mrs. Pen: I bought a pair off etsy and they were so poorly made. Fell apart after a week and the replacement pair se sent were two completely different sizes. Buyer beware (though it wasn't that seller
I think handmade leather shoes should be pricey but they're just not in our budget. I want to watch this episode though!!

@Mrs. Pen: we have those moccs and I can't help but think they copied the design as they are the exact same as far as I can tell! That being said, I really like the SK moccs!

@birdofafeather: I feel like that too. Sad, but it's almost an exact knock-off.
@scg00387: I bought a pair from an IG/Etsy seller too. Quality is SO different than the FP ones.
@lawbee11: I did splurge on a couple of FP's for K and love them! After hearing her story and how much her actual cost is to make each pair, I don't mind the high price tag as much either. But currently everything is made in the U.S.A., which I'm willing to pay more for too. If she really does take manufacturing overseas, I think she will get a lot of quality concerns (and it's already been voiced on her IG and FB a lot).

@shopaholic: @lawbee11: I actually totally agree re: price to make (leather obviously isn't cheap + manual labor) and what she charges. However, there is just a point where I can't afford something - no matter how much I want to support the business or believe they're worth it. I think that's the position of most here.

@Mrs. Pen: Oh! ITA! I couldn't even believe myself, since I've become so cheap about buying things for myself. But I bought a size up in hopes she'll wear them longer (and gender-neutral colors for future LO).

@Mrs. Pen: I still think $60 is hella expensive even though they're leather and made in the USA. I started following her on IG in hopes that they'll go on sale again soon. Assuming they hold up well I'm also planning to sell them on the Classifieds to make some of my money back.
