It is my Friday before a vacation week. We aren't going anywhere special but I am still excited to just relax and spend time with my little family.
I hope the day goes by fast!

Busy day packing for a weekend trip to the beach. I'm not looking forward to all the packing and planning, but I'll be happy to relax on the beach.

i'm happy that the UPS man should be bringing me my new iphone with an intact screen any second now! it's going to be either my reward or conciliation prize, i'm not activating it until after i take a big test this afternoon. i'm also happy about an art fair that they shut my street down for this wk end, it's lots of fun. and i just bought tix for a renaissance fair next wk end

So many exciting things!
1) Accepted a new job this morning
2) Had a GREAT u/s scan yesterday. Baby 2 is official!
3) Taking a friend out for a great dinner for her 30th
4) Dh and I have date night at the ballpark tomorrow! -

I am sad it is Friday, means we have to leave for home tomorrow and vacation is over.

I'm happy that I FINALLY don't have any obligations this weekend! We had a really busy summer and also the past few weekends were filled with events like weddings, parties, etc. This weekend is freeee! And I will hopefully get some major organization done around our apartment.

The weather is amazing today. It has been in the 100s all week and today it's a little cloudy with a nice breeze - supposed to get to the high 80s, but I'll take it!

M's grandparents are in town and we have awesome family stuff going on all weekend. It's finally football season.

I have been solo all month and DH is finally done with his conference and has so much overtime they gave him the day off! Total surprise- and he brought me peach cobbler from peaches grown on location AND lobster mac and cheese (even the breadcrumbs are from bread they made and it is all handcrafted from cheese produced on location- insane!)

It's been a very long week at work, so I'm just happy for the weekend. We have 2 different kid parties to attend this weekend, and I need to start getting stuff for LOs birthday next week. It's going to be busy!
