I try to be careful what I say around my 2 year old, since she is picking up on everything these days.
Today she was taking too long to do something so I started saying her name in my warning voice, and she looks at me and says, "I'm LOSING my PATIENCE!" with a big smile.
Yup. That's exactly what was about to come out of my mouth. Turns out she found my patience since I just started laughing.

Hahaha DD2 (5 months) was having a hard day yesterday. I was letting her fuss so I could get dinner in the oven quickly and DD1 (who is 2) starts yelling "Stop crying, Sydney, good grief!"
And thanks to MIL she also says "whoa, Nellie!" pretty frequently.
Sometimes she tells me things are "strange" as well which cracks me up because strangeness isn't really something I expected her to already have picked up on.

@Foodnerd81: Cute! Last week we flew as a family of four. DD had a fever + croup. DS screamed the entire hour drive to the airport. Good times. We were waiting to pull up to the curb at the airport but the car in front of us was taking a while to move. DD got super exacerbated and let out this huge "Oh. My. Goooosssshhh" with perfect over dramatic delivery. Not sure where she got it. My mouth isn't that clean.

When he's trying to get a two or more people's attention, DS has taken to shouting "hey kids!" The other day he stood at the top of the stairs and shouted at DH and I with that to get our attention.

My LO is currently obsessed with the word "actually". I told her we were having soup for dinner and she responded "ACTUALLY MAMA, I think I'm having donuts".

@Corduroy: one day my LO looked over at DH and me and said, very slowly and seriously, Oh. My. God. Then went about her day. Couldn't stop laughing.

"You got it, dude!" And "Who doesn't?" One time he told me he liked cookies and I said, "Who doesn't?" So now he'll say, "Mommy, you like such-and-such?" I'll say yes and he'll say, "Who doesn't?" Last night he also came out with "What's not to like?"

My 2 year old likes to say "Oh my god" (thanks to my mom!) and "geez Louise" (which comes out as "geez hoo-eez" lol)

"Just a minute please" I say this all the time to her so it makes me laugh when it comes back to me.
And I guess she told MIL the other day "Grandma, please let me have some alone time" while giving her a bath. Whenever I do my bath at night, she barges in at least 5x times and I tell her this every time!

DS has recently started saying 'of course' in response to questions, it is so cute! I didn't realise I said it so much.
He has also started commenting on people's bathroom activities - the other day we had a guy round doing some work in our loft and he went into the bathroom, DS then proceeded to stand outside the door saying "Man. Poo Poo!" That was a tad embarrassing

I honked at a car that cut me off the other day, and my almost 2.5 year old shouts "Jesus, silly people!" Now I'm sure I've let "Jesus" slip in the past, but "silly people" is her own creation.

My two year old recently started saying "oh my goodness, bless my soul". It's hilarious! She's also taken to saying "no way, jose!"

After his toy train falls off the tracks again: "I've had it with this train!" He must have heard it from me when he kept asking me to fix that thing 
Also recently learned to climb up a slide and spent half an hour climbing up and down saying "that's a new one!"

I have a four year old so things are getting more inventive in our house..
he's started to tell jokes.. Knock knock.. who's there.. bandaid.. the bandaid that fell off .. that's the part that's funny mama you're supposed to laugh now
As I'm pumping.. he lifts up his shirt, points to my nipple, then his and goes see mama sames .. I just about died
