My LO is 6 months. So far AF has not returned. I have been EBF and slowly introducing solids. LO has been sleeping through the night since 8 weeks. We would like to try for #2 ASAP due to my age. We are thinking of weaning LO to hopefully get my cycle back.
Any advice/comments/suggestions? For those who weaned how long did it take for AF to show up?

No advice here but my LO is 11 months and my period still hasn't returned. We were thinking of trying for #2 in about 6-7 months and I was going to do some research on this topic. Definitely interested in what everyone says.

My LO's 7 months old.. not sure if AF has come back though. I had light spotting 2 weeks ago and spotting's back today. WEIRD.
If you want to try for #2 I'd suggest weaning. Most of the moms I know saw AF shortly after they stopped nursing/pumping.

i don't have any solid advice on this topic, but i was reading alot of good info on kellymom on this. you don't necessarily have to wean to get your fertility back, although it will increase your chances of getting pregnant sooner. if you aren't nursing at night at all, it should help too. if you start to notice that you are not as dry down there, your fertility is starting to return.

I got my period back after a few months even though I was breastfeeding and I am pretty sure you can still get pregnant while breastfeeding, I know a lot of people who have. Good luck
