We love our nanny, but she will be moving out of the state in a month. I want to get her a gift to say thank you for being so awesome. She'll have been with us since the twins were 8 mo - 2 yrs. I'm not really thinking cash. I'm trying to think of something that might remind her of her time here, and something sentimental to remember the twins by. Any ideas? Thanks!

How about a photo book of picture of your LOs and, if you have, those photos of her with them? And I totally agree on the hearfelt note/card.

I also worked as a nanny for a few years in a foreign country and I had to leave the child under abrupt circumstances (death in my family) and I really wish I had had a picture of the two of us since I didn't go back after that. Also, something you might consider is keeping her on your holiday card mailing list, if you do them. I got holiday cards from the family for a few years after I left and LOVED them.
