Bee and I just Nose Frida'd Olive in front of Grandma, and she was utterly blown away... haha I guess parenting tech has come a long way in the past 30 years or so!

Things that awe my mom:
-ready-feed formula
-JJ cole carseat cover
- bottle warmer/wipes warmer
-Vicks baby body wash (it's not Vick's brand but you know..)
And the absolute doozey: Velcro swaddle blankets! Whoh...
She says her life would have been 10x easier with all the stuff "you lucky kids have nowadays"

Noelle HATES the nosefrida... she starts crying at the sight of it. It's so sad, but both of us have to hold her down while we suck the snot out of her!! Poor girl 
We just did it yesterday. Do you guys spray saline into her nose before you nosefrida Olive?

@leelee: My technique is pretty basic! Here's what I do, in case it helps:
1) I suck pretty darn hard. I used to hold back (I was worried I would suck her brains out) but that hasn't happened yet so now I worry less. I start off sucking not so hard, but work up the power within 5 seconds or so.
2) I wiggle the Nose Frida when I'm sucking... it helps a surprising amount! Bee taught me that one...

Oh man, just reading the responses makes me gag. I don't doubt that it works but I just can't imagine sucking on a tube to get snot out of DS's nose. You mamas & daddies are brave!
